Oh, Canada. Montreal fines church for being faithful to the Bible. Its simple. The God of the Bible isnt welcome in the home of the Canadiens. Hockey, yes. Jesus, no thanks.

Next time that church wants to hold a concert maybe they ought to get the appropriate city permit.

It's more than a little ironic for someone to complain about a lack of freedom when they also promote the idea of Christian theocracy.

Being "faithful" is entirely permitted in Canada. Organising a large concert without the appropriate permits is not, regardless of who you are.

Seriously, I would ask if anyone else has ever been fined in Montreal for doing something without a permit. My guess would be that it happens with some regularity.
