France says Trump should have shown 'decency' on Paris attacks anniversary

PARIS (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump, who attacked his French counterpart in a series of tweets on Tuesday, should have shown “common decency” instead since the country was mourning the anniversary of deadly attacks in Paris, a French government spokesman said.

In five posts sent on the same day France marked the anniversary of the 2015 attacks that killed 130 people, Trump blasted the key U.S. ally over its near defeat to Germany in two world wars, its wine industry and President Emmanuel Macron’s approval ratings.

COMMENT:-

Hey, it's not like Mr. Trump's remarks were delivered in an incredibly insensitive and boorish manner on the French equivalent of 9/11 or anything that people should be complaining about is it?

After all, other than the fact that none of the allegations which Mr. Trump made were true and that they showed an almost total lack of knowledge of the governance of other countries and the EU, what was there to complain about?

Was Trump personally affected by the Paris Attacks? No?, then he could give a **** about them....

A key trait of narcissistic personality disorder is lack of empathy, check!

The chance that a minimum of one person who fought in the battles that produced the dead whose sacrifice was being honoured had "bone spurs" is almost a certainty.

The chance that a minimum of one of the dead whose sacrifice was being honoured had "bone spurs" is lower, but still there.

Is that your stance about 9/11 too? Whoever was not personally affected should not give a **** ?

Perhaps they're unaware that Trump see's opportunity in other's misery, particularly to score cheap political points...

I took his statement as a condemnation of Trump.

Trump should show decency on many occasions, but Trump's not a decent sort of guy. No one should expect a shred of decency from him.

Are you under the impression that "SCrider" is actually Mr. Trump?

PS - Would you like to bet that Mr. Trump would NOT be saying that he actually cares about the WTC/Pentagon mass murders if he knew that there would NOT be any adverse reaction to him doing so?

Is that your stance about 9/11 too? Whoever was not personally affected should not give a **** ?

No, I'm saying Trump does not give a **** about anything that does not affect him personally.

Nobody cares more about American soldiers than Trump!

I heard Trump say so.
