If you think Socialism is a good thing and we need to embrace it you need only look to France and their Riots and England and their economic break down, to see how truly naive you are.

We are on the path to all of this and the only way to slow it down and hopefully stop it is to end the Liberals control and begin to reverse the policies that were passed against our will.

We need to end Unions in all Government jobs and roll back the pay of all Government workers to be even with the public sector, with a few rare exceptions and they elude me now.

The pensions need to be cut in most cases in half or even more and like it or not, Congress the Senate and Obama should get hit very hard too.

Make the requirements for all Government pensions be age 65 for full reduced pension or 62 and you get only 75% regardless of time in position for al,l and Congress needs to have term limits not to exceed 12 years for Congress and the Senate, and no pension with less than 20 years in Federal office. Obama should not get over $100,000 per year in office and a pension of $40,000 for one term and $60,000 for two full terms and no office allowance once out of office and never more than two secret service people on his detail. No one ever tried to kill an ex that I can remember.

There also needs to be rules on how much vacation time a president can take, say two weeks a year and never more the 5 days at a time. Use of Air Force One need to be foe State business only and use in Campaigning and any personal trips should be out.

Speaker of the house should have to fly Commercial and unless it is required not requested all travel to and from home states should come out of their pockets and we should never have to pay for guests like when Obama's wife took 40 some people or however many on vacation.

These suggestions would save millions in no time at all.

France is going to get bloody before its over, and I hope to God it does not spread.

I'm with ya' that government workers should not be unionized. It's a stacked deck. The bureaucrats sit at the bargaining table with their counterparts and give away the store. Private enterprise says, "No can do. We don't have enough profits." The government says, "No problem. We'll just raise taxes."

As to cutting pensions in half, the best one can do would be to have it apply "in the future." Pensions are contractual liabilities. All government pensions should have to be Defined Contribution Plans like the rest of the world. Right now, they're Defined Benefit Plans -- and that model is nothing more than a golden parachute.

You are joking! Airline tickets for an entourage of 100 people . . . what do they do? Ship his armored cars FedEx? Check his "suitcase" in the overhead compartment?
