Fox News Thinks AOC is Running in 2020

I guess some folks never got past the Red Scare.

Which is funny seeing how the ex-communist Putin is doing everything he can to revive the USSR, but because of Trump's bromance with Putin most of those same 'Red Scare' people now have no problem with Putin.

During a snark-filled segment about the 2020 Democratic presidential primary on Friday’s Outnumbered, Fox News host Harris Faulkner had a question for her fellow panelists: “What are y’all going to do if Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez jumps in?

Red:
What a dumb question.
  • What would anyone with any sense in response to anyone's entering the primary race for the Democratic nomination for POTUS?
    • S/he'd evaluate the logical merits and demerits of the stances the candidate advocates.
  • What would anyone with any sense do if AOC specifically enters the primary race for the Democratic nomination for POTUS?

Couldn't run if she wanted to.

Not old enough.

But why would Fox News worry about accuracy in reporting? Not like they are a real news outlet, anyway.

Seriously? I thought were over that meme.

We'll be over that when Fox News actually tries to be a reputable news outlet again, and stops acting like state-sponsored media.

I suppose you think CNN is true news?

AOC back in grade school

How has this topic generated over 60 posts?

How "effing" stupid must Fox's editorialists and viewers be to even entertain the proposition of AOC running in 2020?

The woman is 29-years-old! She can't be elected to the office of POTUS! Even if she were to say she's running, she can't assume the office; consequently, she's not ever going to get the Democratic nomination for POTUS. There is thus nothing to say about AOC "running" in 2020 for anything other than Senate or her House seat.

For Christ's sake. Even the rubric article states: "According to the Constitution, candidates must be 35 years old by Inauguration Day."

Well there are a few here that, probably thanks to Fox, who believe the Democrats are going to change the Constitution and get the age requirement changed by 2020.. I'm not kidding..

I know you aren't...and the sad thing is that folks actually think something like that would be afoot.

They should change their name to TBN, the Trump Bitch Network.

Fox News never has anything to do with accuracy in reporting.

Especially not when the segment being whines about is a chat show, and not and actual news reporting show. Again, glad we can agree.

So you admit that they aren't talking about the news? Then why even bother? Buy a couple of hours a day, turn it into a right-wing Today Show and stop acting like what they say even matters.

The format of that particular show is not reporting the news.

Then why does their website promote news stories?

Edited to add: It's even worse than I thought. This wasn't even Fox and Friends. It was something called Outnumbered. Seemingly a bunch of talking heads, discussing what would happen if AOC ran for office. No, this was definitely a show that was talking about news and current events.

Nice try.

My God man, AOC has got you Trumpsters so nervous besides peeing in your pants, you're seeing things. The article you linked doesn't even MENTION her. It's a freakin opinion piece saying the Dems should run a young nominee in 2020.

Here's the candidates he mentions.. AOC isn't even there...

The potential candidacies of people like Cory Booker (49), Julián Castro (44), Eric Garcetti (47), Kirsten Gillibrand (51), Chris Murphy (45) and Beto O’Rourke (46) probably warrant much closer inspection based on these historical trends. It might even be worth discussing still younger potential nominees, such as Tulsi Gabbard (37), Joseph P. Kennedy III (38) and Seth Moulton (40), as long-shot entries who may be more suitable for the national mood.

Kirsten Gillibrand is far more ditsy than AOC. Who is she going to have as her VP 'Mattress Girl" or Blasey Ford!
