FOX News praises Sicko.

Whenever a documentary about the health care system is brought into a debate. There are huge disagreements. It's no different when a documentary by Michael Moore is made. People either love them or hate them. So it comes as a huge surprise that some of his worst opponents would praise his latest cinematic efforts. Kudos to FOX News for giving props to Mr. Moore. Hats off to them.

Filmmaker Michael Moore's brilliant and uplifting new documentary, "Sicko," deals with the failings of the U.S. healthcare system, both real and perceived. But this time around, the controversial documentarian seems to be letting the subject matter do the talking, and in the process shows a new maturity.

Unlike many of his previous films ("Roger and Me," "Bowling for Columbine," "Fahrenheit 9-11"), "Sicko" works because in this one there are no confrontations. Moore smartly lets very articulate average Americans tell their personal horror stories at the hands of insurance companies. The film never talks down or baits the audience.

You mean when The New York Post endorse Hillary for the senate over John Spencer? Was this before or after she got an insurmountable lead in the polls?

....Another reason for endorsing Hillary, according to the editorial, was that she has “an insurmountable lead in the polls.” In other words, the paper wanted to go for the likely winner. How’s that for doing what’s right?

That's just a parrt of it. Clinton and Co are much closer to Murdoch and Ailes than anyone may believe. Bill Clinton and Lachan Murdoch are quite good friends. There's many other connections too.

Rofl. Murdoch is doing what any businessman would do. After doing the bidding of the Bush administration for 4+ years of Iraq war. He's realized that switching sides might help him. Why? Because supporting a president who's hit rock bottom is not the brightest idea when there is an unpopular war going on. It proves that he is an opportunist. Not a left winger. In the end it's all about money. If he supports an unpopular president. He will turn customers off.

He said he was surprised that FOX would take such an approach to a film by Michael Moore; I had to point out that he shouldn't be.

Since Rupert Murdoch is now behind the duplicitous socialist from Hell, Do you think it's time we pull his "vast right wing conspiracy" membership card? Hmmm?


Nothing FOX news does/says would surprise me now.


That's also my opinion of the topic as well.


As far as health care and insurance goes; I (and so should everyone else) should only speak from my experiences. My mother has been living 4 years now since she was diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian cancer. She's had to spend two different stints in the hospital where she almost died. Once because her lungs were 70 and 45% full of cancerous fluid; Once because fluid around her heart caused her to have what's known as a myocardial infarction (pretty much a heart attack). She's on chemo again; she's been on it before. It's terrible.

Anyhow she's still with us though, due in no small part to the outstanding care she's received from UPMC Presby and McGee's women's center (Pgh. PA) and the remarkable amount of coverage her insurance was able to provide. As of now her bills are close to 1.3mil, she's paid 0 out of pocket; only co-pays and a small portion of the prescription costs. She's been brought back from the dead once by impeccable doctors and has what seems and unlimited amount of funds and treatment options at her doctor's disposal; I'd have to think I'd have a bit of a skeptical eye watching this film considering how the health care industry played out im my own life.

We ain't thinkin' about bringing her to Cuba anytime soon.

I think that this cements it, the End Times are upon us. :shock: :2razz: That, or Fox is finally gonna drop the charade, everyone knows that the media is nothing but liberal anyhow. :roll:
