You mean like gays are to Christians?
You mean like gays are to Christians?
are you a real doctor? If you don't know the answer to that I really can't help you.........
Who says they are not? No other group gets this special class. I guess discrimination is ok if it is not gays.
Excuse me? There are a LOT of gay Christians. Are you trying to say that gays are "Godless".
Please...go to a gay pride event. about 75% of the entries are gay christian groups :doh
(But you probably will say that they couldn't POSSIBLY be Christian and be gay. Right?....let me give you a clue...being Christian and being "Christian" are very often polar opposites).
I don't see gays trying to deny marriage to Christians.
The personal attacks aren't necessary, Navy. Please tell me how a child's innocence will be lost if they are made aware of the existence of homosexuals. I'm dying to hear your reasoning behind this.
Why would it require a special class to explain to children that some guys like guys and some girls like girls? It's not like it requires an in depth explanation. Like I said earlier, parents should be doing this stuff to begin with.
Gays don't have that right. Christians do not deny gays the law does.
Seems contradictory. You talk about living by the rules and the Navy not being a democracy and then in the same breath you say that you and your shipmates will fight against the rules until your last breath.
Children at that age do not need to know about that. They need to learn how to write and read and do math.

Depends on what age we're talking about, here. Sex education starts pretty early in a lot of school systems, and how each grade is taught is different. For example, you are not going to address 5th graders in the same way you would address 11th graders.
Are you denying that Christians are in large part trying to prevent it or are you just being obtuse?
I see voters preventing it and gays trying to use courts to take that vote away.

it is being taught to kindergarten.
That's my whole point, though. Homosexuality can be explained without bringing sex into it.

That's true, but I think that most early sex education is focused more on biology and the pregnancy/birthing process, rather than sexual behaviors. I don't think that homosexuality should be ignored, but it should be discussed in the proper context.
So how are you going to explain it to them when they are confronted with it, whether it be seeing it on television, having friends who happen to have homosexual relatives, etc.? By your same logic, children don't need to know about heterosexuals either without going into specific details that will somehow shed them of their innocence. It's a bogus excuse.
BS....Mormon propoganda.
Very true, and I think a lot of the paranoia surround sexual education for children that young is based on people thinking that they will be teaching kids about lude and disgusting things. Obviously, that wouldn't be the case. They will teach the kids what they can handle at that age.
and who is it that is funding the anti-gay marriage vote?
Or I ask again...are you just playing obtuse?
