Fox News kicks ass again............Scoreboard: Monday, August 1

It's confusing for anyone conversant in English, because it made no sense.

If you had said that the first time, there wouldn't have been any confusion.

And there ya go, consider yourself enlightened.

So for example, you agree that men who think their women should be allowed to use the womems restroom ?

Thats their " right " ?? What about the rights of all the women and young girls who oppose grown mem following them into a ladies restroom ?

What stopped a predator from entering a women's bathroom back before the LGBT laws? If they don't care enough about laws to not assault another human, why would they care about laws concerning which bathroom to use? Hell, pedophiles don't care about the gender of their victim. Why would they bother drawing attention to themselves when they could just enter a men's bathroom and assault a boy?

And there ya go, consider yourself enlightened.

Having never argued about the relative ratings of networks I never watch, you've enlightened me as to nothing other than your original meaning.

Lol.....so rights are conditional depending on who you think is more worthy of those rights ?

I believe your rights stop where mine begin and vice versa.

Liberals claim to care about the rights of others right up unitl those rights contradict their ideological agenda.

The Lefts war on women continues

Huh ? More like Conservatives dont want to experiment with failed experiments.

We see wisdom in what works, in tradition and social norms.

I think most people, liberal or conservative, want to stick with things that work.

The problem is with people who fail to see when something is wrong and refuse to change due to dogmatic beliefs.

We think its foolish to try something " new " thats failed and failed again.
again

Being open to change does not necessarily mean that change has to be a "new idea." It can be an old idea like geoism which I support, first touted by the French Physiocrats.

Like Socialism or Single payer

How has "socialism" (assuming we are talking the Western European kind and not the Stalinist kind) any more of a failure than the corporatism we have embraced in the United States? We all have problems, some unique and some similar. Health care is and has been an absolute disaster in the U.S., yet we do not have single payer.

Family responsibility as opposed to community responsilibilty for your children. Consequences for actions. Leaving what people think of others out of the law.

Once again, I need you to be more specific.

Nowhere in that post did you address a single thing I said. Gee, I thought age was supposed to make you smarter.

Once again, I need you to be more specific.

How can you get more specific than raising your own children and taking responsibility for their actions? Or what is not specific about crime and punishment. And the last could be the advocation of Hate Speech laws. The worst thing that could ever happen to our freedom of speech.

For a guy who boasts of his game... You are sorely lacking.

No, I'm not, and that irritates you to no end. And it shows.

It tells me older generations grew up in a more conservative society and are used to it. Instinctually, human beings are afraid of change. It has nothing to do with "wisdom" as you seem to imply.

I beg to differ. I will be 52 this year and I started school in 1969. I grew up in Maryland during the hippie revolution, women's lib, etc... and conservatism was considered old school and something that only your parents and grandparents still embraced. It took age and experience for me to understand the long term consequences that the actions and policies of our government have had on our society.

My mother had me just after her 16th birthday and was a teen during the 60's. She embraced the liberal lifestyle and belief system just as most people her age. It wasn't until she reached her 40's that she too realized that the "change" she had embraced most of her life, hadn't yielded the positive results that in her youth, she believed that they would. Her life experience woke her up to reality, just as they did me.

Even though I'm sure you will never acknowledge it, age does in fact produce wisdom. There is no substitute for life experience, which is why most people become more conservative and less liberal over time. It's the difference between embracing beliefs that look good on paper, and embracing beliefs based on their actual results.

No sane person opposes parental responsibility. But what aspect of "raising a child" are you referring to? Public education? The criminal justice system? Daycare? What?

Or what is not specific about crime and punishment.

That is not specific at all.

And the last could be the advocation of Hate Speech laws.

What specific hate speech laws are you referring to? Link would be nice.

The worst thing that could ever happen to our freedom of speech.

 Clearly you have never lived under a dictatorship.

You mean you already understood that the FOX is not the leading news source, strange that you could not what I stated earlier, oh well.....

No, I mean that I don't care. But what you wrote was unintelligible, full stop.

I know you'd like to think what you wrote here is somehow insightful, but it is really nothing but the same old empty platitudes repeated a million times.

I am sure it was unintelligible, for some here.

I was far more Liberal when I was in my late teens and 20's than I am now

But as I aged and experienced the real world I grew more Conservative

Or I grew up.

And I was a Republican voting conservative when I was young. Then after a 20 year career in the Army, 18 of which were overseas, I was voting Green Party. Trading anecdotes is fun. ;)

It isn't anecdotal at all. Most people as they mature grow more Conservative

It's reality, not some platitude.

Some people grow up, while others never do.
