FOX News destroys Fred Phelps' daughter on the air (1 Viewer)

Yeah, I saw this a while back, but it is sad that it takes someone like fox to destroy her credibility when it should just be destroyed whenever she talks.

Careful there...I think a few of our members here might belong to that church.
I subscribe to their newsletter. Does that count?

Amen!

youtube is always so laggy.. She looks just like Fred only with long hair.

The Phelps clan is an embarrasment, I am ashamed as a conservative that they choose to affiliate themselves with our side. Examples like this "church" are the reasons that conservatives are considered to be bigots, homophobes, and fanatical lunatics.

I'm no phelps fan, but destroyed?
That fox news lady approached the argument the same way that phelps did---she made no points, and finally resorted to: "you are going to hell" to make some sort of point. Bitched at, yes, but destroyed? hardly.

I don't even think that she is a conservative. She is known to have contributed to us(the democratic party including me) several years ago. But then again, it has been 5 years since her last contribution.........

I heard something about that now that you mention it. It may well be that they are trying to play both sides for influence, either way these people are sick and very bad for this country.

I feel the same about Moore, Franken, Rhodes and Dizzy Dean. (Albeit, their embarassment pales in comparison to the Phelps.) I feel your pain.

But don't stop there. Let's include Coulter, O'Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh and Robertson to the roster of embarassing parasites that have hitched their wagon to the right and have since been a source of embarassment (albeit, they too, pale in comparison to the Phelps.)

You include Franken? I'm sorry, I actually legit like that guy...

I like people who put our traditions and way of life above their political agendas, unfortunately both major parties have these factions.

Coulter takes things a bit far, but makes me laugh, O'Reilly swings both ways politically and half the time just angers me, Hannity is alright in my opinion, and I am a big Rush fan. Pundits are a little different in my opinion than activists, you know which side Rush et. al. are on, so it leads to further research for people who aren't idealogues, but I get where you're going.

Oh she is conservative alright, ultra conservative but still a r-wing extremist and I'll bet my life that she doesn't contribute to the democratic party nor yourself unless you are one of them!

Fox destroys Shirley Phelps? I just saw lots of yelling, a network news agency calling on a "guest" just to yell at them? Seems extreemly unprofessional to me especially for a coorperate news agency. Did it serve any purpose? Pretty pathetic.

I enjoyed it. And I was glad to see her get a little something back in a public high profile forum. Most interviews I have heard are softballs that they preach there crap through applauding deaths of soldiers.

Oh it was definitely unprofessional. Nevertheless I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Well, she has, beleive it or not. It says here that she has contributed a total sum of $2,430.25 and I'm going to email the director to see if he can get me the voting records for the past 6 years. But like I said, past 5 years, no contributions for the past 5 years. who knows what could've happened between then and now.

And no, I am not one of those who supports phelps. I'm a director of research for the democratic headquarters. that is why I know this.

Ewwwwww...:rofl

Just Kiddin

Myself, I'd like to think that I am a live and let live kinda guy. Conservative in many ways and liberal in many others. A freethinker.

But at the risk of making myself out to be a hypocrite, I must truthfully admit...

I would LOVE to walk up to that Phelp's idiot and beotch-slap her until I knocked her out.

The fine would be worth it. The jail-time would be worth it.

I hate her and everything she stands for. If a suicide bomber entered their church and blew the whole congregation off the map, I would jump for joy. (Although, I am not advocating this. I'm just sayin'.....)

They bring out the very worst in me I am ashamed to admit.

I got access to nuclear missiles and satilite imaging, want to blow here off the map? I'll give you the honor to press the red button thingy!

I've read that Phelps did campaign work for Gore back in the 80's and then did local campaigning for Clinton/Gore. At some point he turned on both of them. He even protested at funeral of Gore's father.

Why do I find your story very hard to believe? Democratic Headquarters? Yeah, right!
