Former National Security Advisor John Bolton says 'Putin was waiting' for Trump to withdraw the United States from NATO in his second term

The operative word in that article is "may "
Of course, one piece of information you are ignoring is 'it is DOJ policy not to indict a sitting president'

Which is of no concern to a special counsel
The policy can be changed by the AG.

And, Mueller was not the AG. And Barr was in Trump's pocket.

Very informative write up.

Trump was too obsessed with chasing conspiracy theories in regards to Ukraine. Let's not forget the man tried to extort political dirt in return for releasing badly needed military aid.
Imagine if he had sullied it no strings attached, Ukrainian would have been far better prepared…

Barr told Mueller not to worry about the DOJ policy-- it was his problem.
Which it was. Told Mueller to make his recommendation.

How is that?
There was no delay in the release of the weaponry

Ah yes, the NY Post, owned by News corps, with strong influence from Rupert Murdoch. There is also a wall of responsiblity erected between the CLionton campaign, and the steele doctument, since there was a middle man. So, the NY post is doing fake news. Unsuprising.
Alright, Ramoss, cut the bullshit. Shooting the messenger is an absolute amateur hour move.

A series of investigations and lawsuits have discredited many of its central allegations and exposed the unreliability of Steele's sources. They also raise serious questions about the political underpinnings of some key explosive claims about Trump by shedding new light on the involvement of some well-connected Democrats in the dossier, and separate efforts to prod the FBI to investigate ties between Trump's campaign and Russia.
These revelations have triggered a reckoning around the Steele dossier, particularly in the wake of two recent indictments secured by John Durham, the special counsel appointed during the Trump administration to investigate the FBI's Russia probe. Durham alleges that Steele's primary source, a US-based foreign policy analyst, repeatedly lied to the FBI about where he got his information.....

......But Democratic involvement in Steele's work was much deeper than previously known. Court filings from the Durham inquiry recently revealed that some information in the dossier originated from Charles Dolan, 71, a public relations executive with expertise in Russian affairs who had a decades-long political relationship with the Clinton family. He has not been accused of any crimes.
Federal prosecutors said Dolan was in regular contact in 2016 with Steele's primary source Igor Danchenko, 49, a Russian citizen and foreign policy analyst who lives in Virginia. Danchenko was indicted on November 4 for allegedly lying to the FBI about his dealings with Dolan and a fellow Soviet-born expat that he claimed was one of his sources.

Read the whole thing, the Clinton campaign and the DNC have their hands all over this.

I'm not sure where you are getting your information but I'm guessing somewhere between 2017 Ave and Clueless Street.

Lol. The way you avoid what Mueller in his report.

John Bolton is a warmonger and mouthpiece for the CIA and MIC.

Nothing this PoS says should ever be confused with truth.
Which made him a good fit in the Trump administration.

I believe there were 2-3 "Aides" of Trump that expressed their feelings on the subject. Not good thoughts either...

I wonder what Rex Tillerson thinks about it!

  • Former National Security Advisor John Bolton said Putin was "waiting" for Trump to withdraw the US from NATO.
  • He previously warned that Trump would have withdrawn from the alliance if he'd won a 2nd term.
  • Bolton also said Trump's "main interest" in Ukraine was trying to "find Hillary Clinton's computer server."

And yet Trumpers think he saved NATO.

Bolton is a broken clock. He's right twice a day, for like a minute. He's right about Trump.

I wonder what Rex Tillerson thinks about it!

Tillerson was in over his head, but I never questioned his good faith effort to at least try to do his job

Well, the Mueller report concluded there was no conspiracy and also said they couldn't determine whether the president had obstructed justice.

Trump was of course looking for dirt on Clinton-- they are called the famous Clinton emails-- the 30000 documents that she had on that homebrew server she had put together.
Emails that the DOJ was also looking for.

The dossier was crafted, with the asisstance of a suspected Russian agent, as a political hitpiece on Trump. Hiding behind a buffer doesnt change this.

That is false. Again.

The Report noted that it had no direct evidence of collusion.

It spent most of the text detailing the effort the Trump regieme put up to obstruction of justice.

Trump was not Indicted because his wingman, Bill Barr, would not submit the report to a Grand Jury.

I have no idea why dying trump devotees are still trying to flog this nonsense about the “dossier”

If it was supposed to be a political hit piece on Trump. How come nobody knew about it until after the election???????

Riddle me that, Batman!

Tillerson was picked because he was the CEO of Exxon.

Tillerson had led the deal to rebuild Russia’s oil infrastructure after Moscow has screwed BP. The Russians gave Tillerson a medal.

Trump nominated him on a clear signal to Moscow.

Tillerson was in over his head. He had no experience whatsoever except as an Exxon employee. And he was far too professional to be able to manage Trump’s ridiculous antics.

Tillerson went in willing to be Trump's puppet. He left the State Department woefully understaffed and was willing to let Trump/Bannon /Barr get rid of our professional foreign service and substitute Trump's stooges for them. At least he grew enough in the job to come to realize that Trump was a moron, though. By the time he was thrown out, I was almost fond of him. Being in proximity with Trump makes many people look better. Not Mike Pompeo, though. He still looks like a used car salesman greasing up the customers so that he can sell them lemons. He looks and feels like a traitor. Even Trump cannot make him look good.

You are being dishonest here

This isn't what Mueller concluded. You are once again lying just like stone manafort and trump did.

Trump forced them to spend more for their own defense. Bolton has a bug up his ass because he was fired. Who cares what he says?

Let's not forget Trump sent them missile launchers that the Ukrainians are using to destroy tanks. Oh, and they are keeping warm with Obama's blankets.
