Former Iranian President Ahmadinejad to Run in 2017 Presidential Election - Iran - HaaretzDPA — Former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has announced that he will run in the spring 2017 presidential election, Shargh daily reported on Tuesday.
The former speaker for Ahmadinejad's government, Gholam-Hossein Elham, informed the board responsible for the election of Ahmadinejad's intention to stand, the report said.
Ahmadinejad is expected to launch his comeback campaign.
He appeared for the first time in public this year on Monday when he gave a speech in Narmak mosque in Tehran, but he neither confirmed nor denied his comeback plan, despite enthusiastic calls from his supporters.
Just the guy to use the nukes they are closer to getting. Thanks Obama.
Some talking points just never die..... And actually Iran is further from getting a nuclear bomb...
"Iran has taken major steps to scale back its nuclear program. Iran greatly reduced its stockpile of enriched uranium, forfeited a majority of its uranium enrichment capacity, and granted access to the IAEA to put in place unprecedented verification and monitoring provisions at key nuclear facilities. As a result, Iran is further from a nuclear bomb today than at any time over the last decade. Under the nuclear agreement, Iran’s nuclear program has been dramatically constrained. the IAEA has greater access than ever before to ensure Iran is in compliance with its commitments to stay nuclear weapons-free." Factsheet: Implementation of Iran Nuclear Deal | The Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation
"Several experts have told PolitiFact over the last few months that as long as Iran adheres to the terms of the agreement, they cannot build a nuclear weapon... Not coming to an agreement at all would have let Iran’s militarized nuclear progress continue unabated." Deal allows Iran to produce nuclear weapon, U.S. Senate candidate Carlos Beruff says | PolitiFact Florida
"Iran and six world powers in January passed a critical point in the implementation of the nuclear deal they reached last July as the international agency in charge of ensuring that nuclear programs are exclusively peaceful verified that Tehran had met its obligations under the deal to curb its nuclear activities. The IAEA report noted that Iran had taken steps required under the deal, such as reducing the number of centrifuges enriching uranium to 5,060, shipping out its enriched uranium in excess of 300 kilograms, removing the core of its incomplete heavy-water reactor at Arak, and allowing the agency to enhance its monitoring of Iran’s nuclear facilities." https://www.armscontrol.org/ACT/2016_03/News/Iran-Nuclear-Deal-Implemented
"Contrary to some claims, Iran simply does not have the ability to produce enough fissile material annually for multiple bombs under the deal. And no, inspections on Iran’s nuclear progress have not been undermined by the agreement.. In actuality, it is a widely accepted fact that Iran’s breakout time – the time necessary to produce enough weapons-grade material for one nuclear weapon – is one year. Before the agreement, Iran’s breakout time was two to three months. The JCPOA also gives IAEA inspectors unprecedented access to critical Iranian nuclear and relevant military facilities. Before negotiations began, international access was severely limited.. Today, it is indisputable that Iran is currently complying with its obligations and our understanding of the country’s nuclear program and facilities is far greater than before." And I see which ones.
Evil incarnate. WWIII was, and probably still is, his primary goal in life - due to his commitment to wipe Israel from the map.
If he becomes President, and Iran gets their nukes as Obama is allowing them to do... it will not end well for any human alive anywhere on the globe, at the time.

I read it right after I posted - reading partisan and/or ideologically blinded views didn't change the facts or my opinion of the facts.
the iranians are CLOSER to getting nukes than before the multilateral agreement?
would you please share a cite that shows us this is an accurate presentation
They are able to inspect their own facilities.

Well the 2017 Iranian presidential election just got a lot more interesting.
i believe you failed to provide the cite showing us that iran is closer to developing a nuclear weapon than prior to the multilateral agreement that was signed
look forward to reading that information
You got your answer. Look forward to dinner.
then you are unable to offer a cite showing us that iran is actually closer to developing a nuclear weapon since the signing of the multilateral agreement
don't need dinner ... just ate your lunch
