Like what?

You can google Wayne Dumond, he'll be his Willie Horton.... fair or not... There was the time he lived in a triple wide while the Governor's mansion was being renovated. He's also a tad known here for taking freebies...

Saying all that, it depends on what you think of all that on whether he has baggage or not. For me? I think he was a good Governor for our state, actually better than the guy who was Governor back in the 80's... but he's not really Presidential material.

All of it is just my opinion.

He was on Meet the Press yesterday morning, that you can stream through MSNBC.COM.

He explained that on Meet the Press.......I kind of like what he said.....He is one of the true Conservative Candidates........

This country would never vote for an Arkansas Governor for President.....er....nevermind. :3oops:

He's been spending a good deal of time up here in Iowa over the last couple years, and I've heard him speak a few times, and I can say, quite confidently, that I would NEVER in a million years vote for Mike Huckabee for president, not a chance in hell.

I'm cool with pro-life candidates, and I'm cool with anti-gay marriage candidates, it's usually a matter of disagreement, but given that the candidate is an ACTUAL conservative (as opposed to a CNN conservative), I'd vote for him.

But Mike Huckabee is the definition of a CNN conservative, he's a stupid smug hick who thinks that the most important issues we face are abortion and gay marriage and whatever ****ing family issue is trendy at the time. And those mother****ers have been the downfall of the Republican party. People used to vote for us because we'd have smart economic policies free of the liberal excesses, and because we'd represent middle American values, but these CNN conservatives don't give a **** about economics or the role of government, and only represent what CNN represents as middle American values, and they play well on television, but they ****ing SUCK at governing, and they're the sole reason why Democrats control congress, poor stewards of the Reagan legacy.

I agree with everything you said. However, there is hope for the GOP. A true Conservative IS running - Dr. Ron Paul. :)

He's too extreme for most conservatives. I think he's mainly a vanity candidate, the way Dennis Kucinich is for the Democrats.
