We welcome illegal immigrants in this country and we give them free housing, food, education, and healthcare. There's a lot of naive Americans who think that it's like that everywhere.Americans are adorable. They think themselves so remarkable that they genuinely believe every country has red carpets and welcoming parties awaiting them in every harbor and in every airport in the world. Anybody applying for citizenship in another country, especially a Western-style industrialized democracy, is going to be in for a very, very rude awakening.

As frustrated as I am with the American political landscape at the moment, there wouldn't be a rats chance in hell for me to move to Canada or Europe. They have enough of their own problems already to allow a hooligan like me inside the borders.
