It's been almost a year since the FDA greenlit DeSantis's drug importation plan. And while no drugs have actually been imported, Alex Azar is sure making a mint off it.

Florida Gov. DeSantis’ Canadian Drug Import Plan Goes Nowhere After FDA Approval

People whine about high drug cost, but the reality is there's just not enough consumer demand for a program like this and the state is ill-equipped to get into the pharmacy business. This program sounds great on paper but it'll fall flat on execution.

Probably because a Republican was in charge.

There's not a drug surplus in Canada. We cringed when Biden suggested Americans could go north to buy insulin.
Keep your predatory drug pricing to yourselves. We'll look after Canadians needs.

Sounds like a stupid idea from the git-go if they were planning to build actual physical infrastructure for it. They should have designed it as an online ordering/direct shipping system.
