Pinellas County sheriff’s office said it would station deputies at five early voting sites after two armed men dressed as security guards were seen outside a polling station.

Law enforcement officials in St. Petersburg, Fla., said Thursday that they would station deputies at five early voting sites as a precaution, the day after two armed men dressed as security guards were seen at a campaign tent outside a polling station.

The men told a law enforcement official that they had been hired by the Trump campaign to provide security, said Deputy Chuck Skipper of the Pinellas County sheriff’s office. But the county sheriff, Bob Gualtieri, said that he had “absolutely no confirmation” that the men were hired by the campaign. The men said they were guards for a Florida-based security company, Mr. Gualtieri said.

Thea McDonald, a spokeswoman for President Trump’s campaign, said in a statement, “The campaign did not hire these individuals nor did the campaign direct them to go to the voting location.”

Of course there are NO photos showing ANYONE with a gun - but when does truth make any difference anymore?

"The League of Women Voters instantly expressed concern that the presence of deputies at polling websites may itself deter voters from showing, noting a historical past of obstacles to voting in St. Petersburg."

LOL

"Force", Joko? You still struggling with hyperbole-abuse issues?

Personally I don't think new threads should be based upon a person having to sign up for or take down anti-popup safeguards to be able to read the OP. To read the OP a person both has to sign up for the NYT to benefit the profit of the NYT and turn off computer protections then to read it. Basically, the OP message is an advertisement for the Mexican NYT.

Mexican Carlos Simms, in the top 5 richest people on earth. No one has more power over the NYT because no one owns more of it. Own a business, control a business.

Unless Trump wants to use you for insertion of fake investigations and fake dirt. Then your decisions are to be in the interest of the dictator.

Not only hyperbole but wrong. Norton anti-virus and Adblock Plus enabled - link did popup a create account/log in box but it had a "collapse" arrow. Didn't have to sign up/in or turn off anything to read the article. Not sure how signing up for a FREE account would benefit NYT profit but whatever.
