Flash Mob Again

"NATICK (CBS) — A group of thieves stole over $13,000 in iPhones from the Apple store in the Natick Mall in a “flash mob” robbery. Natick Police Lt. Cara Rossi said a group of seven teens were only in the store for less than one minute, but were able to steal 19 phones."

I was surprised that $13,000 worth of Apple iPhones was 19 phones. That's only $685 a phone.

And, I realize that for some, "hoodies" are just convenient articles of clothing to keep you warm but:

"Lt. Rossi said both male and female thieves were involved, and that they all wore hoodies and hats to help conceal their identities."

Imagine that. Hoodies and hats to conceal identities. No wonder some congressmen took to wearing hoodies.

They were secured with cables. Apparently, the thieves came with cutters. But, it is always good to try to blame the victim.

I wasn't blaming the victim.

Those stores normally have one on display and when the sell one, they get a new one in the box from the back, hence my question.
