Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes[W: 110]

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

Oh and don't call the President, "boy". It makes you sound like a racist teaparty a-hole. Your not that are you?

I've often thought of Barrack Obama as a boy doing a man's job but have caught myself in time because of the possible racial overtones. But if BHO was White I wouldn't hesitate to use the term. Instead we have to use terms like "seriously under-qualified", which suits him just as well but lacks the folksiness and plain truth of the other.

Sometimes things just are, without always looking for racism.

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

Can you imagine if every family sat down every month and decided whether to pay their bills or not like Republicans want to do with America's bills?

Oh, we want to talk about the budget like it's a family now, huh? Could you imagine if every family sat down and decided they'd spend 46% more money then they actually had every year, like Obama's proposed budget has been doing?

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

Speaking of "unicorn pegasus ".
The only thing he ever wanted to do was raise the taxes on the rich and use the bill for further spending.
Do unicorns eat straw:mrgreen:

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

I'm always amused to see what the perception of the "teaparty" has morphed into. When they first arrived on the scene I went to a website to see what they were about. I remember finding a 10 point statement that could be summed up in one sentence, "quit spending my grandchildren into oblivion". The most radical point I heard from them was the idea that if you send more money to Wash, Wash would do nothing to improve our fiscal outlook and would instead create new spending. Not only do I not consider that radical, it's spot on, as just demonstrated once again.

The idea that the teaparty went after the poor, senior citizens, etc is absurd. They merely played the adult in the room and pointed out that anyone that thinks we are going to get out of this fiscal mess without impacting everyone including the poor, seniors, etc. is kidding themselves. The opposition to tax hikes on the rich is about not sending more money to Wash so Wash can't create new spending, the class warfare scene seems to be the lefts forte.

I don't know where the "teaparty" will end up, but the people who want Wash to quit spending our grandchildren into oblivion are still here. Perhaps a bit sadder and poorer but still here.

Wow, you mean the 98% of people I wasn't talking about. Thanks for paying attention.

As for as your other stack of straw, i'll lit the graph do me talkin.

What that has to do with his interest in increasing spending in the bill is beyond me.

Any more straw?

But you lack an imagination. What is the point in him using his?

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

Many seem to have taken sides between the two political parties but was this best for the country? How will the United States get control of its debt and its spending, or are most people now too politicized to care about the future of their country? That seems to be the big question.

What does any of the post that you made, have to do with the post that you originally quoted?

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

What ever happened to growing the economy and lowering unemployment? That is the ONLY way out of debt. No amount of cuts will fix it untill we are back on our feet.

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

Like i have said in other post we can give up our job as the worlds police force;at least until we get our own house in order, by closing a few unneeded overseas bases.

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

Hahahaha.....3 or 4% increase in GDP. Hey Joaqin I already exposed your lying ass when you posted that last quarters 3% was evidence of a improving economy.

If your GDP growth comes from massive Federal spending with borrowed money for the purpose restocking inventory and your consumer spending is only 1.3% then your economy isn't actually growing and there is no "recovery".

Obama might get that passed his low information voters but he or you are fooling no one.

WTH ??? If you're so concerned about growing the economy and lowering unemployment why did you vote for Obama ?

Its fun to watch liberals try and explain away how Keynesian economics is going to add jobs when all it does is inject borrowed money into a economy whos consumers then buy junk from China.

Unreal..

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

Keynesian economics rocks:rock.

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

This is why I voted for Obama....

Taking another 2% from the paycheck of the consuming masses fixes the economy how exactly? "Yeah--Obama won and the working poor just got their take home pay cut, but don't worry that blame the rich schtick works every time on our ignorant base. Wanna take a sauna?"

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

How is going deeper in debt going to help? That's an expense that will have to paid also.

And calling L-obama a 'boy' is an accurate description. Since a man lives up to their responsibilities and L-obama doesn't. Whether I look like a racist is irrelevant since i only look that way to brain-dead L-obama sycophants.

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

Do you really only see hypocrisy from one side and not all sides? Or do you see it, but it isn't laughable from your side?

Re: Fiscal Cliff Bill Passes

At least something was done, big whoop! I think it may only be conspiracy theory, but the republican shelving of Sandy aid is repugnant and possibly retaliation for the overwhelming support for President Obama by the northeast, even Governor Cristie's appreciation for the president's prompt response. This story the storyline of republicans placing their peculiar ideology ahead of the service they were elected to perform as the major responsibility of their jobs namely to look out for and provide for the general welfare of we the people is really evident.
