Firefox Picture-in-Picture Popout

A new feature on my browser is to pop out a video from the top page when I scroll down. It hovers over the side of the screen till I close it. Very annoying. I tried right-clicking on the video icon to stop it but that only makes the pip control icon disappear. Firefox has no switch in options to disable it either.

I couldn't find a fix on Firefox extensions or Google search. Does anyone know of a permanent fix for this aggravating feature?

I appreciate the attempt but all these solutions do is get rid of the blue control icon on the video. I don't care about the toggle, it's no bother. Somehow this solution is being passed around the net as an answer but it still doesn't stop the auto-pop out.

I figured out how to stop PIP in Firefox. Go to Firefox Options, then click on Privacy & Security. Scroll down to Permissions, then click on Autoplay Settings. Go to the top and select Block Audio and Video, then Save Changes.

This will stop the video clip from loading and popping out when you scroll the page. Or you can just click on the Stop/Pause button everytime. This also stops the auto picture-in-picture.
