Finland’s defense minister: We’re preparing to thwart any potential military threat. is Finland saved from Moscow´s imperialism?

its clear that Finland takes seriously security issues (having border with Moscow´s empire) , question, what if Putin´s Muscovy attacks , how , where , what will happened, your scenario ?

" However, in Finland there are also reasons for optimism. Our society is resilient. We have confidence in our model of comprehensive security, which we have developed and fine-tuned during the post-Cold War era. We have maintained and developed a national defense capability throughout the decades. We never dropped the ball on defense. In addition, we are members of the European Union, are partners to NATO and cooperate actively with our Nordic neighbors. We never dropped the ball on defense. In addition, we are members of the European Union, are partners to NATO and cooperate actively with our Nordic neighbors....

This year our military expenditures will reach more than 2.2 percent of gross domestic product. We will, in the coming years, procure a new Navy squadron with four corvettes. During the next decade we will also replace the current fleet of F-18 Hornet fighters; a procurement decision will be made this year. Together, these two projects will inject more than an additional €10 billion (U.S. $12 billion) into our defense system.

Additional defense expenditures will facilitate a balanced approach to defense development. They guarantee that our intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and command-and-control capabilities, joint fires, cyber defense, and the Army will get the needed upgrades during the 2020s and beyond.

Good for the Finns. I've always had an admiration for that far northern nation.

+1.,
thats why Muscovites and pro - Moscow traitors hate Free and Democratic Finland even today , good reading:

" Finland's comprehensive approach to keeping its population safe is seen as a model for Europe. Constantly honed resilience training prepares the country's military and civilians for deep freezes or deadly foes.

When German Chancellor Angela Merkel declared Europe needs to take more responsibility for its own security due to the Trump administration's ambivalence toward NATO, her public recognition of inadequate self-defense made some countries nervous. Finland wasn't one of them.

President Sauli Niinisto says Finland - with a population of 5.2 million, a border with Russia that runs 1,340 kilometers (833 miles) ...

"We have a huge reserve [of military forces] and they are trained reservists," Niinisto explained to DW this week. "One of the largest in Europe."
If Finland called in all its back-ups, officials say, that would be almost a million soldiers. To illustrate his point further, the president explained Finland would then have 5,000 more "men in arms" than Germany would with its reserves, despite boasting a population just one-sixteenth the size.

Though the number of Finns kept in training as active reservists has dropped considerably since its peak in the mid-1990's, the government decided to boost its forces by 50,000 after Russia's annexation of Crimea. The current number of continuously trained reservists now stands at 280,000.

A widely circulated 2015 Gallup poll showed 74 percent of Finns said they'd be willing to take up arms to defend their country - the highest figure by far in Europe. ...

"We have this strong tradition that we can defend Finland, the 'will to defend,'" he said. "In a Finnish family it's part of the core thinking - you have to do your military service."

Finland instructs nearly a million military reservists - BBC News

Finland sends letters to nearly a million reservists to remind them of their duties in case of combat, officials tell the BBC. ... A still from the defence forces shows a reservist receiving a letter ... and is done in part to ensure that we have the right contact details." ... Study reveals Russia's near misses in Europe.

The Coronavirus enters Finland.
One week later: The Coronavirus is hiding behind the Ural Mountains.

All Finland needs to do is it's fair share. Finland doesn't have to take on Russia alone. If all of the European NATO countries just did their part, they would have enough firepower and manpower to stop any Russian aggression. The problem is, most of NATO is a military joke. Didn't it come out last year that Germany had four airplanes that were airworthy in their entire air force?

The anti Moscow False Flags gather pace as NATO ( ex US ) seeks to engineer increased budgets .

Those naughty little politicians from the America Corporation in DC are desperate to get Never Ending Wars back as the only strategy .
Feel sure that the Republic of America will not be keen once body bags start re-appearing in numbers .

As Crimea about false flags.

You keep using those words.

But you don't back them up.

Why?

Watch out for American rednecks in MAGA hats my friends in Finland. You know our US capital is still ringed triple 20 ft. fences with razor wire from when they attacked us out of the blue. Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the US are still trying to recover.

1. They agreed to FINLAND'S surrender terms...

2. Finland surrendered.

I don't recall which Soviet leader it was but one of them after the conflict with Finland ended said (paraphrased).

"The only thing we won was enough land to bury our dead".

The Soviets didn't think so.
you are 100% right, Moscow´s main goal was occupation and distraction of Finnish democratic, progessive national state . Moscow ´s gang badly failed to achieve it

29 March 1940, speaking at a session of the USSR Supreme Council , head of the USSR government and Narkom of foreign affairs V.M.Molotov finished his report to the «top organ of legislative authority» in the section devoted to war with Finland, by the following wordми. «Concluding peace treaty with Finland finalizes completion of the task set last year for assuring security of the Soviet Union from the side of the Baltic Sea. This agreement is a necessary additionм to the three agreements of mutual assistance, concluded with Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.. " The United States and Finland enjoy an enduring partnership and friendship. Our security partnership has broadened and deepened since 1994, when Finland joined the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) Partnership for Peace program. Finland was designated a NATO Enhanced Opportunity Partner (EOP) , the Alliance’s highest-tiered partnership status, at the 2014 Wales Summit. The United States works with Alliance members and EOPs like Finland to strengthen regional security and improve collaboration in the areas of security cooperation, defense trade, non-proliferation, military exercises, training and defense posture, counterterrorism, cyber and border security, and to counter emerging or hybrid threats.
