In order to eliminate the variables you have to have a control group and it is unethical to expose someone to a virus that you kill them.

Yeah that's what a lot of people do they pretend. And if you put the mask back on when the police came up and told me to took it right back off on their backs were turned it doesn't work unless the virus only spreads when there's police near or a busybody Karen to tell them to wear their mask.

Then by all means tell us why all the people in close contact with a person that had covid didn't catch it. A full day, several co-workers and several clients. Are you really so stubborn you can't admit that everyone wearing masks was the difference?

She is selfish poor excuse for a mother to have not only done that at her son's football game, but to also upset her younger son, by throwing a childish tantrum. Not to mention the F-bomb coming out of her mouth while families were there for what should have been a fun event. Non masker is least of her worries.

That said, the friend I spoke of that's antimask wore one to attend the event we went to, so don't think they don't ever ever wear one.

It's not an issue of justification, because I agree the school had legal and moral justification to remove her from the premises. In the United Airlines case from years ago, I likewise argued that United Airlines had the legal and moral justification to haul the Asian man off their aircraft.

I'm considering the greater good--the best course of action--not merely what's justifiable. Call it "tempering justice with wisdom".

Regarding your list: step (4) is where I believe the school and the officer might have acted more wisely. Issue a fine Ms. Kitts if the law allows it. Ban her from reentering the arena (unless she agrees to comply with the law) once she and her son leave. Make it clear to her that she'll be arrested and forcibly removed at that time if she takes the risk.

As I said in #669, she might well dare to reoffend, and in that event I agree the school has no choice but to remove her by any means necessary. However, she won't be amped up on adrenaline at that time. She won't be a cornered animal, embarrassed, contending with fight-or-flight at a time when she's facing down men who she genuinely believes are enforcing a tyrannical and unjust law. Just as importantly, her circumstances no longer make her a sympathetic martyr to the countless millions of citizens who agree with her that men are enforcing a tyrannical and unjust law.

It's a grace. It gives her an "out" and an opportunity to reflect on how seriously the school takes the rule in a setting where she isn't a caged animal.

I assure you: any spectators witnessing the VP and SRO hassle Ms. Kitts, presuming they had inklings of coming unmasked to future games, were disabused of those inklings well prior to her arrest and ejection.

I believe that Ms. Kitts herself almost certainly wouldn't have flouted the law if she'd known she was going to be hassled about it.

This wasn't her first instance of this kind of behavior. She was handled just fine by requesting she follow the districts rules but refused. She was in control of her situation up until she chose not to leave and resisted arrest.

What do you think. Will some other parents show up and throw tantrums too? It's like her mother was oblivious that her daughter refused to comply to wearing a mask and was refusing to leave. She outright says "all this over a mask?" No mommy, all this because your daughter thought she was entitled. Actually, the moms reaction shows why Ms Kitt thought she was special. Always somebody else bad, not my poor Alicia!

I can tell you there is a 50% 50% chance Biden will be president. There is a 95% chance Biden will get the most votes and a 60% chance that Biden will win the electoral college.

You don't think there's an EC path to victory for Trump without Ohio? I honestly don't know, it's pretty early so I haven't started serious research about who is doing well where by how much yet, but it seems too early to me to make that kind of definitive statement.
