What you're avoiding saying is that most of Hungary's Jews had little choice between an antisemitic party / President and a coalition with a largely fascist party. There's a philosophical description for that choice but I doubt you'll get it.
Many simply refused to vote - one man resorting to a comedy party that promised eternal life and free beer instead.
