FBI Lawyer to Plead Guilty of Falsifying Document for Carter Page FISA Warrant

Keep the dream alive.
I don't want another Watergate. Such a public spectacle is fully justified by the deep corruption in both Obama's administration and in the permanent bureaucracy, but it would harm the country too deeply. It's enough to show the wrong doing by Obama's people and the complicity the media, who are supposed to watch for this sort of corruption.

Washington Post rolled out a new motto for the masthead in 2017, "Democracy Dies in Darkness." The irony is deep, because WP knew about Carter Page, the improper FISA Warrant and the use of official resources to spy on the Trump campaign, yet they said nothing. To take them at their word, Washington Post wants to kill Democracy. I simply want to turn the light on both parties, rather than let one side use it against the other.

This guy is giving them the smoking gun. The pretense all along was that it was legitimate surveillance. This shreds that like Frosted Mini Wheats.

18 U.S.C. ch. 37, the Espionage Act. Each day the server had a single restricted email is a felony. Each email is a separate felony and each day a new felony. Receiving emails is a felony. Transmitting emails is a felony. Erasing emails is three separate felonies that I am aware. At no point is intent require for there to be a violation. We know, from Hillary Clinton's admissions and recovered emails that there were tens of thousands of felonies. DoJ was not investigating her. They were covering it up. This is all verifiable fact.

This is true. Those who actually did the surveillance are clear, provided they had no knowledge that the basis was falsified. The ones with the legal problems are the supervisors and the upper level people.

LOL! You don't have the slightest clue what is 'true'. The memo altered by this low level lawyer had to with the renewal of the warrant. Not the original warrant which the IG deemed properly predicated.

Who is Carter Page?

Depends who you ask. According to Trump and co. he was a mere coffee boy before it came out that he was actually a foreign policy advisor meeting with Russian government officials in Moscow on behalf of the campaign.

It's August and this was just the beginning. This investigation by Durham has been going on for a year. Cheers!

Ah yes, I'm sure Barr and his thugs will have "something" by October...something to attempt sway the gullible Masses. And once November hits, and if Trump wins, the investigation will disappear like a fart in the wind. If he loses...I'm sure the GOP will use more of our tax dollars to appease the radical idiots that make up the GOP base.

Where did you get that information? Certainly not from the Mueller Report which claimed just the opposite.

I think the American people are strong enough to handle the truth, though the Leftists have long been in denial. It's about time they woke up as to what's been going on for the past four years.

Sally Yates has testified under oath that the fault was all Comey's. Rosenstein said much the same.

They'll need a fall guy and so far it's Comey, though others, like Brennan and Clapper, were certainly involved. All have committed perjury.

Skip the true. Let's go with facts. The first application was declined by the Judge. The low level lawyer was tasked with tweaking a later application. Those are facts. From the facts we can infer that the FBI knew that they were coloring outside the lines.

Check your calendar. October is a long way off.

When Trump wins, the investigations will go to Grand Juries, if any of the cases are left. As has been noted, this was a minor character, but the facts of his case are of central importance. It shows that the FBI knew they did not have lawful surveillance.

Jesus Christ! You're just as literate as your buddy Fred. For crying out loud the link from the Washington Times no less that YOU yourself posted to me says this; "The FISA court, for its part, approved all four applications and renewals, and the four judges involved were appointed by Republicans.. ****, you wouldn't know what fact was even if it were to stand up and kick you straight in the face.

Comey is too venial and self important to be plausible. Also, too easy. His own mouth convicts him.

You are saying this as if there was a point, but you never posted that part. Perhaps if you bought a clue.

No one said the Judges were under investigation. That's a fact. They are easy to identify.

This is all about FBI and DoJ finding ways to work around the FISA Judges.

LOL! He's a low level FBI lawyer. Then only thing he's likely to spill is his coffee.

Low-level lawyers don't usually take it upon themselves to falsify documents used in warrants. Someone likely ordered him to do what he did.

It doesn't matter who appointed the judges. They were given false information and didn't vet the applications properly.

How do you know that they sometimes don’t?

We will see. His please deal undoubtedly includes a provision for him to testify what he knows.

None of the applications were denied much less the first. Once again you’re just embarrassingly demonstrating how poorly informed and ignorant you are of the ‘facts’.

Yes, and by pleading guilty early he probably saved himself some jail time also.

Actually, the DoJ vets the information. There are a number of forms to sign, swearing as an officer of the court that the facts are as it is presented.

We now know for certain that the one Mr Clinesmith altered was not properly vetted, which means that everyone who signed the application is guilty of a crime.

Just what heck is a ‘please deal’? Where is the indictment or plea deal agreement filing? It’s getting pretty hard to deal with ignorance of this sort.

You are factually incorrect.

Start doing your homework before you get athlete's tongue.

Exactly.

This smacks of throwing a bone to the masses. I have this feeling that following the law and going where the evidence leads you in this case would mean opening the door to years of systemic corruption regarding the FISA court. People on "both sides" would wind up getting ensnared and I seriously doubt that this is going to go much deeper than, say, McCabe?

Yeah, that's right, we would have discovered the deep state, but the guys hired to do so couldn't dig deep enough cause the deep state was too invested in being so deep.

Doesn't prove the deep state doesn't exist, it just proves how cunning the deep state is.

Amirite?

"A very disturbing fact about the wire tapping request of President Trump is that the FISA Court turned down President Obama’s Administration’s first request to wire tap President Trump that was evidently signed off on by Attorney General Lynch. With only two applications denied out of 10,700 from 2009 through 2015, the fact that the Obama Administration’s application was denied by the FISA Court is very disturbing. The odds of this happening were 0.02%".

It was my understanding that the FISA Court reviewed the applications but given their near 100% approval rating it seems you're right. The FBI hierarchy must have known how easy it was to get approval for their applications.

!$#!@ autocorrect. It's a plea deal.

We still don't know the details of this deal, but they are usually only granted when the defendant is cooperative.

Have patience grasshopper. All will be revealed.

You should clean out your browser history and run a malware check, and your head, given the demonstrably false delusional garbage you're posting here.
