This happened about 7 years ago in one of the high dessert exurbs of Los Angeles. Late summer and fall are what is locally called the "fire season" in southern california - it's what we have while everyone else has autumn. The fire authorities endlessly warn people to cut back brush at least 200 feet from their houses in such areas. But the EPA warned homeowners not to do it because they discovered some endangered rodent was nesting nearby in the brush. You guessed it - the next brush fire burned down twenty homes.

classic. This one kind of fits in...it involves peta. I get a call from my sons mother (who is a lesbian...pretty little lipstick lesbian like you see in classy porns) to come get her out of jail. What happened is this...she took our son to mcdonalds and as they were going in, there was group outside giving away little happy meal looking boxes to kids. She let him have one...they never told her who they were and actually made like they were there for mcdonalds. Well, they get inside and Parker starts crying while shortly after they sit down and he opens his little box. Inside were pictures of slaughtered cows and chickens and just gruesome scenes from slaughter houses in general. Along with it was a toy Ronald McDonald covered in fake blood. When she realized what they had given him, she went out and pulled one of the girls of the group across the little table and beat the holy hell out of her. They took her to jail after someone came to get our son, but the charges were dismissed eventually.

I take it you heard the story of the guy and his gf who got eaten by the bears a few years ago in Alaska. He had names like "cupcake" and "chocolate" for the bears. I guess they finally tired of his condescension!

I read about those "unhappy meals" it's pretty sick when freightening children is seen as good way to push an agenda. I hate Peta anyway and my kids are vegetarians! My husband only eats fish but the kids won't even touch that so all in all we see very little meat in this house. But Peta isn't really about promoting vegetarianism.....they go way overboard. They don't believe anyone should keep animals as pets. I wish they'd come tell that to my dog who thinks she's human and tries to steal your seat on the couch every chance she gets. Plus they have a problem with fish tanks and I have 5 so Peta gets no support from us.

All that said Mc Donalds is kind of gross but I am a sucker for their fries. But you have to admit that Ronald is freaking scary even if he wasn't covered in fake blood. If they didn't have built in playgrounds at McDonalds I doubt you get as many kids who loved to eat there.

On the rare occasions I eat fast food I eat wendy's becuase it's about 1.2% healthier than McDonalds. Taco Bell is good but it upsets my stomach.
