Whose your favorite candidate that never got elected for president? Maybe a Walter Mondale, or Bob Dole etc. etc. What did we miss out on etc.?

Barry Goldwater, what an America he could have made...

I know this isn't possible, but I would have liked to elect Clinton for a third term.

Absolutely.
He would have truly have united the country. Much better than either of his brothers. No dalliances, no drunken accidents. He would have been a good one.

Can I finish Larry, can I finish? Never forget the debate with Al Gore on Larry King, and the charts that he had on t.v. explaining his plans. He was just too impatient. I voted for bush sr. for that election. Ross was a trip to watch though.

My favorite was when he said, "I'm all ears". He was great.

I just read a bit about Goldwater online. Didn't realize he inspired the conservatives like he did.

George McGovern

Mr.Clover, he would have been the best president ever.

i agree with Kandahar and Paladan. Robert Kennedy. he had the people's popularity to effect a lot of change that needed to take place and in some cases, still does need to change. he actually cared about people's well being and wanted to change things for the better. really, has anyone done that since?

Eugene Debs-the socialist. He would have fkd things up and america would have been sick of socialism having seen it. When FDR came around, they wouldn't fall for it
