1) Dennis Franz-Sipowicz-NYPD-have to rate him as maybe the best

2) Daniel Travianti-Hill Street Blues-a professional actor in every sense of the word

3) Efrem Zimbalist Jr -FBI-I was just a kid then but I loved that show

4) Ice-T Law and Order-Cop Killer to a great TV cop

5) Edward James Olmos-Miami Vice-sometimes saying less is more

6) Sarah Michelle Geller, David Boreanaz and Allyson Hann i gann (are you kidding-her name is censored?)-Buffy-tremendous amount of young talent on that show-in fact just about everyone who was a regular was top flight

By far one of the best characters ever written for TV:

James Marsters-"Spike" yum

Others that I've enjoyed:

Alan Alda-"Hawkeye"
Hugh Laurie-"House"
Joshua Jackson-"Pacey"
Jensen Acles-"Dean Winchester"

and not a hottie but highly entertaining none the less: William Shatner-"Denny Crane"

Best show television has ever seen. I really miss it. Nothing lately even comes close:3oops:

Al Bundy (Married...with Children)
Archie Bunker (All in the Family)

Imagine spending the evening with just the two of them.

That movie was just on the other night.

Have you ever scene ATHF (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) on adult swim?

"People like me, because I force them to . . . with violence."

"I rule you bitch, suck it dry."

"I pulled out all of my teeth at a young age because teeth are for gay people, that's why fairies come and take them from under your pillow."

Frylock: I just put it in there to get you excited about your real dinner... this... uh... celery stalk right here. Mm!
Meatwad: Well, it ain't workin'. Now, if you expect me to eat this, you gonna have to supply me with some wing sauce.
Frylock: How about a twist of lemon?
Meatwad: How about a twist of I gouge your mother ****in' eyes out? Get me the ******* wing sauce!

Inignot: On the moon, the weekend has advanced beyond your wildest dreams. Weekends now take up the entire week, and jobs have been phased out accordingly.
Err: We get checks from the government. And we use them to buy beer.

I don't know if its the best ever-Hill Street Blues, NYPD, Mash, Law and Order all have arguments but its one of the best for sure and in terms of originality, unmatched. every major role was extremely well acted-from Willow to Giles, Buffy to Angel, Spike to GLory.

Many. Joel from Northern Exposure. Barney Fife. Capt. Picard. Jim Rockford. Sherlock Holmes (Jeremy Brett). Inspector Morse. Adam Dalgleish.
