Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine proposed in 2021 to solemnly celebrate the 80th anniversary of the conclusion of the Act on the restoration of the Ukrainian state, concluded with the consent of Nazi Germany.

The draft resolution was submitted for consideration by the people's deputies from the "Svoboda", "Golos", "Servant of the people", "Batkivshchyna", "Trust" and "For the future" factions.

The act was proclaimed in 1941 by Yaroslav Stetsko, Bandera's Deputy in the OUN. The head of the nationalists himself did not have time to get from Krakow to Lviv by that time.

Representatives of the German military command, major Aikern and captain Koch, were also present at the drafting of the document. As writes "Страна.иа" the act has nothing to do with the independence of Ukraine, as it referred to the creation of a "state on the Western lands" of the country.

The act also specifies mandatory cooperation between Ukraine and Nazi Germany.

"The Ukrainian state will work closely with the National socialist greater Germany, which under the leadership of its Leader Adolf Hitler creates a new order in Europe and in the world and helps the Ukrainian People to free themselves from the Moscow Occupation," the document says.

At the same time, the publication notes that, in fact, the document was a waste of paper even for Berlin. So, Koch, who was present at the meeting of the nationalists, noted that "there is a war going on and only the Wehrmacht can give orders."

In recent years, a policy of rehabilitation of fascism has been carried out in Ukraine. Hitler's accomplices Stepan Bandera and other nationalists are recognized as heroes.
