How are you guys approaching the year? I have been passively listening to some podcasts but haven't been able to get motivated to dig deeper given the uncertainty of the season. I would think there are opportunities for those who are able to think ahead about how C19 may affect this year.

Lets talk about C19 strategies as it relates to structuring your teams.

I'll start with a few. I play in a 12 person ppr league. 20 round draft.

1) I think offensive lines are gonna be sloppy this year. I'm leaning towards established running QB's earlier in drafts than I normally would. I usually wait till rounds 10+ to get my guy since there is so much depth. If the lines are crap the QBs who can run will have a tremendous advantage. I may pay up for the top six this year. If I can't get a runner then I want a smart quick decision guy like Brees or Brady. If I can grab Jackson or Mahomes in the 3rd I will. I never pick QB this high but these guys score so many points compared to the rest.

2) I'm gonna try to get a couple stud RBs in the first 3 rounds then click on WR's for the next 3 or 4 rounds and then gather as many upside RB's as I can like Mattison, Pollard, Edmunds. I will probably go late with TE. It may be too hard to resist Kittle or Kelce late second if they slide. I might go earlier than normal with QB if the price is right.

3) Maybe start researching guys who don't do so well on the road. There is not gonna be much of a road atmosphere this year so maybe the road won't affect some as it normally does. Jarrod Goff will be able to hear his coach better on the road.

I usually play in a couple of season long money leagues, but while I will still go heavy on DFS, I don't think I'll have any season long teams this year. My NBA season long leagues got canceled, and after seeing what's going on in MLB, just don't think its worth the aggravation.
