Families of victims get revenge against pedophile. (1 Viewer)

Revenge is rarely, if ever, a desireable attribute. Revenge represents the lowest level of our society.
In a civilized society there are laws and prescribed punishment. When individuals take it upon themselves to exact punishment over and above that which the courts have prescribed they demonstrate that they themselves are not worthy of benefits of a civilized society.
What this perpetrator did was wrong and he deserved the punishment he received. However, vigilantism demonstrates the ugliness that exists in even the "non-criminal".

Nah. Not good enough. Take the pedophile out to the woods, and find a good stump. Pour gasoline over the stump, then nail his penis to it. Give him a machette then light the stump on fire. He then has 2 choices:

1) Spend the rest of his life without an instrument to molest a child with.

2) Die.

Either way, his molesting days will be over.

I think its a bit different in this situation. I've got an 18 month old daughter and to know that this discusting excuse for a human being did those things to my innocent little girl, that would be unbearable. You have to understand that no matter how civilized a person is.....everyone has their limit. And I don't blame these people at all.

I agree, they should not go free after the attack. I personally just dont blame them for making the attack in the first place.

STill insufficient.
Open up his skin and implant rice kernals and sew it back up. Allow him to live through having his penis rot off.

I'm assuming this was in the US? What state?

All they could manage was that? In a nation that allows the ownership of handguns and assault rifles? What the f*** is that 2nd amendment worth anyhow?

At least they got good footage of his face, nothing worse than the British system of protecting crims against vigilantes. Yes we are that dumb over here.:roll:

Exactly my thoughts. Theres a difference between being taking the law into your own hands and being willing to deal with the consequences. There has to be rule of law, just dont acuse me of trying to be above it when im ready to deal with the consequences.

I would think getting revenge against a pedophiler would be shooting the scum in his head or perhaps paying his cellmate to make tha pedophiler his bitch every night.

Trying to smack around the peodphiler is not revenge.

I bet it sucks to be the guards who had to protect that scumbag.

Revenge and vigilantism is sometimes necessary becasue the justice system has failed.I do not see it as something ugly.
 
If I was the cameraman, I would've turned it off and lit a smoke....
 
What sucks is now this piece of garbage can sue his attackers. Our judicial system blows.

I think this happened in Chile Gunny... At least that's what part of the link said, I could be wrong...

If this happened in Ohio or Vermont, he would have just gotten probation based on past publicized verdicts. Considering our courts won't take care of our citizens from child predators, why shouldn't we?

Oh....my oops. I didn't even check out the link. It's too easy to assume that this sort of activity occures only in America.
 
Don't blame them for getting their smacks in.

If it were me, I'd rest assured knowing the fate that awaits pedophiles in prison. I don't think there's anything better than the US Penal system for insuring that people who spend a few years in jail for child molestation don't ever do that again.

Of course, before he got his don't drop the soap surprise, id want to get in a crack or two.
 
I don't know how anyone can condone this type of behaviour. It is just not acceptable
