You're citing a magazine at best, a blog, supported by 12 random (well, actually very biased) former officials (intel and military). I think we could find 12 ex-officials to sign on to just about any idea, given 5% of people will agree to pretty much anything.

Granted, 12 ex-officials agreeing with Alex Jones is funny.
