They need to make this like Cracker Barrel where you enter and leave through the gift shop. I’m not sure what troubles me the most, the fact that there is a WH gift shop or the fact that someone in the WH thinks it a good look to publicize this.

These world leaders must just shake their heads. I can just imagine how they talk about him in private,

Yes world leaders of other countries, there are plenty of us in America who are still figuring out how our country chose this delusional moron for president.

The amount of personal discipline required to not simply roll their eyes is admirable.

They should all get a Nobel Peace Prize for avoiding the natural instinct to burst out laughing while giving each other the side-eye.

Some people struggle a bit more than others.

It is too bad his arrogance ends up an asset for him than a liability, too many seem to be perfectly content with his non-stop grifting and narcissism.

It is no wonder that Putin can play Trump so well.

Except I don't think they think it is funny. I think they think he is pathetic and worrisome.

I'm rolling my eyes too but it's probably a completely different reason. I am rolling mine at Trump's stupidity and you are rolling them because someone pointed it out, no?

He looks like he belongs on the boardwalk in Atlantic City trying to lure in tourists to waste money on a cheesy prize

Yup.

Prior to the meeting yesterday the Euopeans and Carney discussed strategy. They executed so well on it that Trump wouldn't rule out American boots on the ground, a comment that caused serious alarm in Moscow.

Trump is a jellyfish and his foreign policy is shaped by the last person he talked to. He'll be a weathervane for the next while as European leaders and Putin bend his ear.

Where does it say anything about a gift shop? I mean, I know there is one - it's sorta kitty corner to the southeast, across the street from the Ellipse. I think the tours start there. It's been there for years (decades?) But I don't see what it has to do with this image or tweet.

...doesn't say 'gift shop' to you?
What's that display for then?

It does look like one, but the gift shop is off the grounds. I think this is probably just a shrine within the White House to stroke his fragile ego.

Probably one of many.

It's a room in the WH that he keeps gifts in to give to his visitors . I remember seeing him in there with that rapper who used to come to the WH. You're right ......it's all about his ego.

There is an official White House gift shop but it is not located in the White House. When I lived there I used to purchase a White House Christmas ornament every year. I think that picture probably is a room where they keep gifts to give to certain visitors to the White House. I doubt that they sell anything from there, at least I hope not. The actual White House gift shop had some very nice items. I have not lived there for a number of years though so don't know what it is like now.

"We're trying to stop the most brutal war in Europe since WWII ended, but yeah...we'll take the time to look at your ego-boosting garbage."

One of them should've asked "And which Chinese province were those hats made in?"

You can't use a "Trump 2028" ball cap as toilet paper.

I'd rather have one of those pens with the Presidential seal on them. At least it'd have some usefulness and when the ink runs out, it'd still be a neat keepsake.
