I believe Obama is abusing his power. I think that the whole "executive order" thing was designed to be used like, maybe ONCE in a total state of emergency when there is no time for congress to convene. Obama has signed about 150 or so. Is this just a clever way of being a dictator?

I think that the EO has become a very dangerous tool of the President. The past few administrations have made ample use of the EO to essentially bypass the Congress or legislate from the Oval Office. As such, the use of the EO needs to be restricted.
Not all EO is improper, but they have been more and more abused. Less we restrict the usage to proper means, it will just continue to grow in abuse and misuse.
Restricted, exactly. As I said, I don't believe it was intended to be used as a tool for dictatorship, but if he uses it to try to ban guns, that's exactly what it would amount to. At which point, would he not then become impeachable (as if he isn't already)?

Why are Obama's EO's a "tool for dictatorship" when there are clearly other presidents who have issued more? You're simply speculating.

If you are speaking about he whole ammunition EO, then to my knowledge, this has not happened. Yesterday, some of my white wing friends on FB said that Obama issued an EO for this. I asked, where's the link showing that he did? Others asked as well. Nothing, nadda, zilch! The OP of the post said he'll post the link. That was over 12HR ago. I guess Obama hasnt done anything about the EO.
Has he issued this order or has he not? It's a yes or no kind of answer.
thank you
You should probably go edit your post....you forgot to use the terms "communist" and "socialist".

I won't list them here but you are more than welcome to read this:No. I should have clarified that in the OP but I figured it was fairly common knowledge that he has stated several times that he intended to make this his course of action if he couldn't get by congress with it.
