Exclusive: Senator Warren to endorse Clinton, sources say

Clinton won't be giving a GOP governor the opportunity to pick Warren's replacement and controlling the special election in a state where DEMs lost another special election replacing Kennedy. Similar reasoning for S. Brown in Ohio. Kaine's seat could easily be lost in VA also. The potential of a 50-50 Senate could preclude a Senator. All three Senators I've mentioned have tough reelection bids in the 2018 mid-terms when DEMs face a difficult map.

A normal year might easily see trump take a governor like Kasich. DEMs have a weak bench for governors. With Pennsylvania currently a crucial toss-up and the DNC convention there, there could be some chatter concerning Gov. Wolf as VP. Got any other DEM governors worth mentioning? I'll toss Hickenlooper of crucial Colorado out there also--he was born in PA. Governors also have drawbacks, since they've actually had to make difficult choices .

Good to see you! - been behaving yourself?

She will not choose a woman as VP, IMO. She has talked a lot about this being a historic election - first woman nominee etc - so why would she want to share the limelight? Warren will undoubtedly be offered a cabinet position if she wins, though....

Cites for rampant voting fraud in New York, California and Arizona, please. You don't get to just say stuff that you can't back up.

I voted for Ted in 2010=mainly because Ted didn't bend to Clinton on gun issues but Cave-in Kasich changed his vote in 94 so clinton would sign his budget reconciliation bill. but Kasich earned my vote in 14 and that democrat who ran against him was perhaps the most pathetic candidate I have seen for governor in decades. He didn't even have a driver's license and he was probably having an affair in the car when the cops questioned him

Did I read that Ted is thinking about running again in 2018 when Kasich ends his term, or am I mistaken about what office he's thinking about running for?

Not if he's Senator Ted. You might see a Gov. Boehner though .

Warren is far and away more effective for DEMs and America in the Senate, as with Sanders.

At this point, Warren is a nagging pain in trump's a**, which Sanders will eventually be .

I love how they pronounce it 'Baner'.............

...It's 'Boner', lol our pundits need to get over themselves.

Governor Boner :lamo :lamo :lamo :lamo :lamo

Yeah. Looking back at it, I feel Bernie really screwed up on downplaying the whole email scandal.

There are valid reasons for that decision.

Bernie may appear to be grass roots, but he has one of the most effective machines on the planet. That machine knows exactly what to say and what not to say. He didn't go there because there, obviously because there was no benefit to his campaign. As much as I and others see the injustice of Hillary's actions, it appears the majority don't want to hear about it. They want to hear about free stuff and expecting Bernie to extract some billions to play with for a concession.

I really hope Warren isn't the VP pick.

She won't be and neither will Sanders. They are far more valuable if they stay in the Senate and I doubt that either of them are interested in the VP job anyway. Remember we still have to get rid of the GOP majorities in Congress if anything is going to get done. Sanders people are very prone to forget that key element.

She ignored Bernie, and now that the coast is clear, she's jumping on the Clinton bandwagon.

She took a big hit in my respect for her.

Warren is far more savvy than you guys ever could grasp. . Sanders did not need her endorsement and Warren had nothing to gain from it. Warren knows her agenda is not going to happen overnight and I believe she thinks Hillary would better than Sanders at getting things done.

She promotes and upholds the divisive two-party oligarchy more rabidly than most. She's just as mentally-unstable and crazy as Sanders, Hillary and Trump (and most career politicians for that matter).

So I guess everything that Warren "stands" for is a show. No way would someone that says the things she says and actually believes it support Clinton.

Sounds like Warren will be endorsing Hillary soon. Also its almost beginning to look like she might be a possible VP..... [/FONT]

In some ways, this isn't surprising as for all the enthusiasm that the #FeelTheBern people have shown for a Sanders-Warren ticket, Warren has not endorsed Sanders and on top of that, Sanders actually has no endorsements from anyone who is currently in the Senate.

Perhaps.

You haven't presented any evidence over your opinion, but I'm willing to show respect and consideration of it.

Hilary should go hard after Kasich for VP. Kasich and Bill Clinton were the last team that balanced the budget and produced surpluses. Ohio goes big for Clinton. I think if she and Bill woo him with the lets create the same budget magic they did before for the good of the country I think they may could get him.

IMO, I thought it was gentlemanly. I personally don't like either of them, but the fact that he was able to still turn the crowds he had without attacking her on that current and serious issue, was respectable.

Well I can definitely understand that. I did like how Bernie didn't have one single attack ad throughout the duration of his campaign.

Suuuuuuuuure. and if a white judged belonged to a group called "The Race" I'm sure you would have NO PROBLEM with him making judgements on ALL KINDS of other races. otherwise you would be a hypocrite.

Setting aside that this judge was part of a local group of Hispanic Attorneys and Judges - which is separate (and denounced) the actions of the larger group that shares part of the name.

You are correct. I would not have a problem with a white judge being apart of a group called "The Race." Because - again, you need evidence of bias on behalf of that one individual as it is directed towards the parties or facts involved in that particular case. If he were part of a known hate group like the KKK, that might be a different scenario. Granted, he probably would not be elected if that were the case.

But then you probably see La Raza and the KKK as being two sides of the same coin.

The hero worshipping of Senator Warren has always confounded me.

Well, she's a redskin. Therefore she has native nobility. Her father was the model for the Buffalo nickel. No, he wasn't the buffalo... I can't figure it out either.
