CNN has uncovered exclusive new information about what is allegedly happening at the CIA, in the wake of the deadly Benghazi terror attack.

Four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, were killed in the assault by armed militants last September 11 in eastern Libya.

Sources now tell CNN dozens of people working for the CIA were on the ground that night, and that the agency is going to great lengths to make sure whatever it was doing, remains a secret.

CNN has learned the CIA is involved in what one source calls an unprecedented attempt to keep the spy agency's Benghazi secrets from ever leaking out.

Jack Murphy and Brandon Webb, who run SOFREP, have written a book called Benghazi the Definitive Report, conclude the killings of our Ambassador and three others were part of blow back for a secret assassination run in North Africa with involvement from John Brennan who is currently Obama's counterterrorism adviser and Joint Special Operation Commander, Admiral Bill McRaven. I haven't read the book yet.

I saw the report this morning. I never bought any of the stuff the GOP was saying about Benghazi and the different talking points. But this is something entirely different, from what I can tell, and it seems that there was something going on when the attack took place.

That's not to say that the previous criticisms have gained any credibility whatsoever; this is entirely new information about Benghazi. Given that its a CIA operation, we'll probably have to wait for a couple of decades before we learn what all this means. And rightly so, release of too much information about this might affect CIA's effectiveness.

If the CIA was on the ground the body count would have either; a) been higher or b) the attack would have been successfully fended off for some time... Of course you have 3) yess three, the CIA were shooting at our own and part of the mob.

I wonder if confronted with evidence (if any) what Jay Carney would say about these "imaginary scandals."

Oh yeah, I forgot - if it was 1975 this event would have never happened - they would have called this FACT (Benghazi) "rumors." I suppose it's difficult to do that when everyone has a camera and it's documented, so we will just say "phony scandals" until Obama is out of office.

Oh and the only way Clinton, Obama or potentially both don't end up in a prison cell is if Hillary somehow manages to win in 2016 however I have a feeling Hillary will throw Obamy under the bus if Hillary chooses to run and Obama would retire to Kenya if the stove were turned on.

Either way this "phony scandal" certainly wont make progressives think twice who they're voting for..... I know this for a fact because Jesse Jackson Jr was reelected despite the fact he stole over a million dollars and was in a mental hospital at the time but was still overwhelmingly reelected.....

When Hillary was asked about the possibility that they were running guns at that location, she stated that the question would be need to asked "by those that ran the annex". Turns out, that was the CIA, and likelihood that they were running guns between Lybia and Syria, via Turkey, is high.

That's true, progressives wont think twice about changing their vote but a steady drumbeat of information on this scandal, the IRS scandal and Fast and Furious could potentially cause the Democrats to lose the Senate and then the Presidency in 2016.

I might be satisfied with knowing Hillary is drying up in a corner minus the nod to run against a GOP challenger in 2016.

The lie about the video to cover up a terrorist attack right before an election ?

Because that's all but been confirmed unless your'e not paying attention.

The gun running through Lybia ? We actually COULD find out about that relatively quickly if Obama wasn't so intent on hiding witnesses.

You have to ask yourself why is he so intent on making sure the Countries that surround Israel are run by Islamic theocracies.
