Excellent and challenging new home-school curriculum

This curriculum is for people who already agree with Ron Paul and are interested in learning more about it. It is not indoctrination because it is not mandatory. In order for indoctrination to work, it has to be forceful and targeted at different kinds of political leanings. This website is CLEARLY slanted for conservatives and libertarians for them to learn more about the freedom concept through readings of Ancient Greek, Roman and Modern books and other subjects.

indoctrination isn't mandatory. indoctrination is brainwashing! Otherwise known as forcing people to believe in something. You may love Ron Paul and all he stands for, but your children should learn about history and science from people who are actually qualified to teach them as Ron Paul is NOT! Furthermore, I agree with many others on here that I would not have my kids subjected to this form of brainwashing sold by a politician. The public school system is different because it is voted on and agreed to by a majority of the people either on a school board of which we elect or by various other school officials. While the public school system is far from perfect, this curriculum is hardly excellent and/or challenging.

And you asked me before why I thought Ron Paul was a cult leader?? This has cult written all over it!!! The fact, you can't see it, is because you are already brainwashed :D

1) I am not f**king brainwashed. I read issues from all viewpoints, I do not take Ron Paul at his word....I merely agree with him.

2)
"Otherwise known as forcing people to believe in something."
....forcing....FORCING.

3) If you did more research you would see that Ron Paul is NOT teaching the classes. It is either a qualified teacher or the parents teaching it. Ron Paul just hired the teacher, publicized and contributed to the curriculum.

4) It is a LOT...A LOT..more challenging then public school curriculums. I saw my son's Standardized Test, I almost wept at how easy it was. I didn't realize just how downhill education has gone downhill since I was in school.

5) You should really refrain from "ad hominem" fallacies in your argument because it doesn't make you right, it just means you can't have an intellectual debate about something without having to insult someone to make yourself right.

Teachers know what they are teaching it's their job. They can help you with things others cannot, I really want to see a parent teach their child basic quantum physics. Most are experts in what they do, most parents cannot teach sciences or advanced mathematics, not to mention all the other courses like languages or history, law, etc. I don't know about the U.S. education but here we learn about the structure of our government and our constitution aswell as optional law courses which extend that even further. We learn the history of the French Revolution, which set forth all the ideas for modern thinking and The American Revolution. Homeschooling should be banned because an uneducated and indoctrinated society does not benefit anyone. No, this is clearly indoctrination it is to force children into Libertarianism which should be dead like it is here.

1) This curriculum does not force anything.

2) Why are you arguing U.S politics if you're not even in the U.S!

3) Since when has quantum physics been a part of the middle school/high school curriculum.

4) I agree not all parents can teach their children, but there are parents that are more than qualified.

5) There's some PS teachers that do not know what they are teaching. You require A degree, my son's 4th teacher had a degree in marketing...Also teachers follow curriculum that, of course, have bias. They do not just teach whatever they want, under several laws that is illegal.

2. Yes. would you force your kids to take this class, because you felt it was better? What if your kid, wanted to stay in public school, would you let him?
3. Actually your information is wrong about the teachers. From the course website:
This is a curriculum, not an academy. An academy costs more -- a lot more. It is taught by conventional graduates of accredited colleges. This high school curriculum is taught mostly by college professors, ex-college professors, and specialists outside the academy. In the lower grades, it is taught by members of a homeschooling family.

Personally I would like to know who these people are, and I hope they aren't just random internet people!

Oh wait: never mind here are the people. So please tell me how these people are MORE qualified to teach kids than the average teacher? http://www.ronpaulcurriculum.com/public/135.cfm
4. What evidence do you have to back that up?
5. You just said you agree with what Ron Paul says. That means you're brainwashed by him! Every politician does this.

1) That's the entire point.

2) I don't think you know but the U.S. is a rather large country that has a lot of worldwide influence and your also next door.

3) I don't know when but it is at least here.

4) I don't know any parent that knows more than what 10 teachers specializing in varying different fields can teach they are also usually out of date.

5) Here most teachers teach what they have a degree in, my math teacher has a degree in mathematics, my physics teacher was a physicist, my French teacher had a degree in French, etc. If you had a teacher with a degree in marketing he should have been teaching marketing or other business related courses.

Morality is not subjective and never has been. That's a ruse for those who don't want to live their lives the way they should. If it requires Authoritarian structures to ensure that, so be it.

Have you actually SEEN Ron Paul's issues or listened to him speak??

Also please elaborate on "traditional"

I'm pro-Israel so I cannot be pro-Paul. Sometimes I like what he says, then he starts with how we caused 9/11 and I recall what a nutcase he is.
