A former GOP staffer and Republican National Committee aide who admitted to being part of a ring that traded child pornography involving babies was sentenced Thursday to more than 12-and-a-half years in prison Thursday.​

These days Republicans are just obsessed with how Democrats are abusing children. Morally outraged Republicans are passing laws to stop the abomination. During their hearing, GOP Senators insinuated that Justice Jackson was on the side of child molesters.

But, gee. When it gets right down to it, it sure seems like Republicans are ones going to jail for it.

• Remember Denny Hastert? He was only the Republican Speaker of the House for eight years. And a "serial child molester," in the words of the judge for his case.
• Then there's the Republican Congressman Mark Foley. His thing was also young boys. And also of course he was also a prominent anti-gay crusader in public. You just knew that was going to be the case, right?
• Then there's Roy Moore, who liked his children female.
• And of course Jim Jordan, who as an assistant didn't lift a finger when his boss's fingers were exploring where they shouldn't have been. Such a champion of morality. Such a model of courage. No question about it. He's a Republican, through and through.
• More recently we have Matt Gaetz who, when he wasn't driving drunk, was allegedly facilitating child sex trafficing. This may explain why he was the only representative in the entire House of Representatives to vote against the Combating Human Trafficking in Commercial Vehicles Act, a bill allocating additional government resources to help combat human trafficking. Later, on June 23, 2021, Gaetz tweeted that the FBI should be defunded while it investigated him for alleged sex trafficking and having sex with a minor. Because...mmm...they're all liberals! Amirite!?!
• And now we have a former GOP staffer and RNC aid who has admitted to being part of a child pornography ring. That involved babies.

And what are the Republicans all buzzing about? Why, how horrible those deviant Democrats are, of course.
