How do we screen people to be police officers? Anyone under Marquise de Sade level is good to go?

How do we screen them?

Well, first, they have to have the money to pay the tuition for an accredited police officer training course. If they don't, then they can't become a police officer.

And, second, they have to complete at least 13 weeks of training to a standard acceptable to the people that they are paying the tuition to. If they don't, then they can't become a police officer.

And, third, they have to be legally permitted to have a gun. If they don't, then they can't become a police officer.

After that, well, the rest doesn't matter.
