(Reuters) - Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer, informed Trump about a conversation he had with the Kremlin seeking help to build a skyscraper in Moscow in 2016 during the U.S. presidential campaign, according to a court filing.
Cohen also “remained in close and regular contact with White House-based staff and legal counsel” to Trump while preparing false statements to Congress about his contacts with Russia, Cohen’s lawyer’s said in the filing to a Manhattan federal judge late Friday.
===========================================
How many times did Trump say in public during 2015-2016 that he had no business relationship with Russia? Five or six times he lied.
Financing for the Trump Tower Moscow was supposed to be via the sanctioned VTB Russian bank. At a press conference, alleged Russian spy/agent/gun provocateur Maria Butina asked Trump if he was going to lift sanctions on Russia. He stated that he was all for doing that but not disclosing that this would open up his financing for the tower project. Trump is a liar & a crook who has been compromised by V. Putin. No wonder he never has anything bad to say about him.
This was all brought out on Rachel Maddow's MSNBC show last night.
