Ex-Clinton fundraiser gets 12 years in prison - Yahoo! News

Quote( A wealthy Manhattan investment banker who was once a top fundraiser for Hillary Rodham Clinton and other big-name Democrats has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for bank fraud.

Hassan Nemazee (hah-SAHN' nah-MAH'-zee) was sentenced Thursday in federal court in Manhattan.)

Strange how birds of a feathert flock together.
Here we have this guy who stole from a Bank fundraising for a woman who attempted to steal furniture from the White House at the end of her Husbands tenure as President of the US.
One might have thought that appointing a thief to high office might have been considered the height of stupidity?
But with this Obama administration I suppose anything goes.

If it weren't for all of the deregulation, he wouldn't have committed financial fraud. This is why libertarianism is wrong.

If it weren't for regulation, what he did wouldn't have been illegal!

There's not much in the way of revising banking regulations that can change the immoral act of forging someone else's signature on checks or other financial documents.

This guy was scamming people; he deserved to get busted whether he once raised funds for Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, George Clinton, Pres. Obama or you mamma!! What he did was wrong and he deserves to go to jail.

Sidenote: This isn't a political issue; this is a criminal issue. Politics has nothing to do with other than his fundraising associations for members of the Democratic party. Nonetheless, he certainly wasn't doing any fundraising when he forged those documents to pay off his debts.
