Perhaps you remember what it was like back in 2016. Trump was a joke, a clown. There was no way he would ever win the primary. There was no way he would ever win the election. All the right people were certain of this. All the polls confirmed this.

Then he won.

And so coming up to the 2020 primaries and elections we have the same thing.

The pinheads are always so sure of themselves. Then they weep.

The good news is that almost everyone who ever works for Trump ends up crushed as well.

Trump should be raising people up not crushing them. Some great leader we have.

Somehow, I find it likely the Crushing of millions of American citizens financially and the extreme damage being done to our national security by his petulant child act will be the true crush in the end....followed by a swift return of attention to Mueller and SDNY.

Except that the end result for Trump in anything not related to Real Estate has been bankruptcy and we (the United States) are headed for bankruptcy and that is not something that Trump has ever been able to prevent, not even with Putin's banks involved.

Get prepared for Trump's 7th bankruptcy as that will be the end result for the country. It all comes crashing down at the end.

well, at least US banks aren't getting crushed anymore. they learned not to loan our President money since he is a worse risk than some unemployed dude in Chicago.

Mueller

He's a crushing bore; I'll give him that.

Why is that the good news?

The US isn't going bankrupt any time soon. Most of America's debt is owned by US citizens.

How can he crush anything....what with those tiny hands...

Would that be Human Voting Citizens or Corporations?

I would check more closely before making such a statement"

The public holds the rest of the national debt of $14.8 trillion. Foreign governments and investors hold almost half of it. Close to one-fourth is held by other governmental entities. These include the Federal Reserve, as well as state and local governments. Sixteen percent is held by mutual funds, private pension funds, and holders of savings bonds and Treasury notes. The remaining seven percent is owned by businesses, like banks and insurance companies. It's also held by an assortment of trusts, companies, and investors.

Here's the difference. First time around people took a chance on voting for trump. After two years, he's basically lost the support from those taking a chance. He's left with his base and that's about it. Even if he's at forty percent, forty five percent even, if the dems run a decent candidate, trump won't win with that amount of support. A good bit of his win was based on how much the right hated hillary, that's gone too.

And you conveniently forgot about the 2018 midterms. Trump ran around the country making the election about himself. In other words, Trump put Nancy Pelosi in her place, as speaker of the House.

Oh, but he' gonna crush her as well, right? By denigrating her? By storming out of the room? By grounding her flights?

Trump, when faced with highly experienced power brokers like Pelosi, he is so far over his head it's not funny. He could spit in her face and she wouldn't even flinch. But when the time is right, she's going to bring the gavel down on this poser and he'll wish he had stayed a TV host.

Isn't it pathetic that you actually need to point this out?

I also find it amusing that Trump Fan Nation can't get past the 2016 election. "He beat that stinky Hillary" is the only achievement they can ever come up with.

The people who got money from him as a result of his Trump University scam crushed him.

No poll was ever taken on the Electoral College, and most of the primary polls indicated that he would win. I'll start with the very first primary, New Hampshire. He was predicted to have 30% of the vote, with the closest to him being Rubio with 15%. Why do you lie?

He never got a majority in any of the primaries.

There was virtual certainty that he would lose the election. Is it really necessary post cites to prove this point?

Let this video of Ann Coulter getting a horse laugh for saying Trump would win suffice:

And here's a compilation of "No way that Trump will win." from all your favorite luminaries:

Eat your heart out.

You have a good point, except that polls are not reliable when it comes to Trump. I think we learned that the first time around.

Who said he got a majority in the primaries? Do you go off topic when you have nothing of value to say?

You said the polls predicted he wouldn't even win the primary. You were wrong. Blatantly wrong. Starting with the very first primary he was projected to win, as I proved to you. Just thank me for correcting your mistake and eat crow.

Interesting, looked it up after your post

https://www.thebalance.com/who-owns-the-u-s-national-debt-3306124

The U.S. debt was $21.9 trillion as of December 31, 2018. Most headlines focus on how much the United States owes China, one of the largest foreign owners. What many people don’t know is that the Social Security Trust Fund, aka your retirement money, owns most of the national debt. How does that work and what does it mean?

True. However it's not looking good for either trump or the GOP who refuses to abandon him. I feel the GOP will pay the price for their ignorance in 2020.

And even then he needed the help of our main foreign adversary, illegal help from Comey, day after day of lying to the public, and an outdated mechanism from the 1700's to do it.
