Everyone that drives a vehicle whatever it is, fill up on a Friday and flood the market with gas overload for the weekend and watch the price per gallon fall drastically!!! There is no way everyone would do that tho. There would always be the guy that felt sorry for the oil companies or that has stock in them . Good idea. :rofl

That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

It reminds me of the call you hear every now and then to boycott buying gas for one day. It is ridiculous, even if everybody did it, it wouldn't change anything. People would fill their tanks just before, or just after, and it wouldn't effect the bottom line for the gas companies one iota.

There is a much simpler way to make a statement than hurting ourselves any more than is already being done by limiting ourselves of gas once a week or whatever. Exxon is the largest of the Oil companies. If everyone simply refused to buy gas from Exxon, getting gas from all the others instead, it would hurt Exxon tremendously!

Heck, we could make it a rotating plan, if you feel like really getting organized. No Exxon for 2 months, then make it Shell off limits the next!

Of course, if we all spent 5 minutes we were going to dedicate to jawing with each other on this site to writing a letter to our representatives and demand they 1) get rid of the gas tax for now to help out and 2) do something about the high oil/gas prices, we could probably make the biggest impact of all!
