The coverage of Ukraine has been largely okay, except that whenever they bring on a guest or expert to say, "We need to learn the lessons from Nazi Germany and help the Ukrainian people", I can't help but look at Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, and Yemen and think, "**** you, buddy."
And I'm saying that as someone with friends in Ukraine. The US media has been ATROCIOUS in covering genocides, invasions, ethnic cleansing and foreign policy issues in general. When they're not cheerleading for an invasion (Iraq / Afghanistan), they're looking the other way and whistling (Yemen and Palestinian treatment), while bringing on the latest neocon scumbag to tell us how we should be concerned about human suffering resulting from invasions.
