I say: A evangelical fundamentalist "university" is a contradiction in itself.

Universities have to be open-minded and truely universal - as the name says.

Fundamentalists of any type should never be allowed to open or run any university.

See the Falwell case.

More authoritarian nonsense.

By the way, the definition of "university" is:

1 : an institution of higher learning providing facilities for teaching and research and authorized to grant academic degrees specifically : one made up of an undergraduate division which confers bachelor's degrees and a graduate division which comprises a graduate school and professional schools each of which may confer master's degrees and doctorates.

Then Catholicism falls into that close-minded category.
Nothing more close-minded than having a catechism in lieu of the real thing (with some things taken out from the Scriptures like, "don't make any images, and don't bow to them" from the first commandment.

An "open-mind" does not mean contradicting or violating what is plainly and clearly written.

A so-called "open-mind".....................can also leave itself wide open to Satan.

We see catholic schools everywhere. I have no complaints, don't get me wrong.
The standard of education in catholic schools is definitely higher than public schools.

Religions should not have universities -

- universities should not be run by religious fundamentalists.

Only the weak minded turn to religion as a crutch

No problem if it gives them peace of.mind. they will never know it wasn't true

But to indoctrinate children into the supernatural fiction of religion is just wrong.

Just as wrong as the Taliban's ban on education for women and their indoctrination into the Muslim religion.

You do not have to explain, what a university is.

Apparently I do, if you think that the meaning of the word has anything to do with whether a fundamentalist religious organization should be permitted to have a university.

Go ahead and tell theses folks about your bigoted and totalitarian ideals -

Aligarh Muslim University

Here's another one for you and your bigoted friends to protest and shut down...

Dharma Realm Buddhist University | DRBU

Or maybe we can just all try to get along and keep our hands to ourselves. Lastly...

Downvote all totalitarian bigots!

One good thing the mango menace presidency has done is to expose evangelicals for the hypocrites they truly are.

Sorry but they have the right to run any schools they wish so long as they are private and legal.

I am talking of UNIVERSITIES - that deserve that name.

Not of block-hut schools.

Any Schools, they have the right to have their own schools, whether they are flawed is another issue altogether.

See you later ....

I think you have no idea, what "begoted" means. :)

You can't even spell the word bigoted, and you want to school me on its definition?
