There was recently a survey that showed people in America being concerned about political corruption. We constantly see aethical politicians in office or running for office. When they're caught, they skate if they're the right party and have enough juice. Totally aethical people move up in our government like Sen. Ted Kennedy whose only punishment for killing a young woman was not getting to be president. We see incredibly corrupt systems such as the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois continue to sink year after year. We see politicians bragging about the values in New York City and the City of Chicago.

Remember the City of Bell, California, that made national news as the most corrupt city ever. It's fame was immediately challenged by Vernon, California.

We have people who feel lying, having bogus research, revising history, murder are all valid if it serves the cause.

Give some thought to an ethics/corruption forum.

That is, quite literally, an example of General Political Discussion.

Calling something "ethics/corruption" as a sub-forum invites argumentative OPs when we should be talking about the politics of it all.

Seems to me that if the other fora aren't enough, the Scandal du Jour subforum would work for discussion of ethical breaches and etc.

I agree. There's really no point to making a ethics/corruption forum.

For a small bribe in the right hands maybe.......

We have plenty of forums where discussions about this can be created and already have. We aren't looking to create any new forums at this time but we may revisit that later on. Thanks for the suggestion.
