Erg Chech 002 new achondrite meteorite with totally atypical characteristiscs (1 Viewer)

early this year a new meteorite was found in Algeria which is totally unusual. Its an achondrite, so it must come from a large object, like a massive asteroid like Vesta or even a rockey planet like Mercury, Venus or Mars. It has large greene olivine crystals.

So far the parent body could not be indentified but there are hints that it could be from Mercury. I was lucky and got a 1g piece of this unique meteorite.
