Re: EPA consultant is investigating anti-Trump 'resistance' within the agency: report

Both are potentially obstruction to justice.

One is, definitely. The other, probably not.

Re: EPA consultant is investigating anti-Trump 'resistance' within the agency: report

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hillary get charged when Sessions becomes AG. Oh wait....

We knew that wasn't going to happen.

Re: EPA consultant is investigating anti-Trump 'resistance' within the agency: report

I feel for those working in the EPA who have dedicated their lives to cleaning up the environment.

Re: EPA consultant is investigating anti-Trump 'resistance' within the agency: report

Aside from all of the snide attributions that you have conjured up, let me just ask this:

How is that that all government climate cult alarmists and their socialist sycophants are the same people who rape 8 year old girls, smoke meth, and defecate in public, please explain this unholy nexus?

Now onto the substantive issue that you have accidentally raised:

I worked (in science) in the real world for 50 years. Had I ever been caught undermining my bosses orders I would have been fired unceremoniously for just cause and would not have collected a dime in severance pay or unemployment compensation. The top of my reporting chains were the CEOs, and it was not required that I either like or respect them but to undermine them on company time or to do so in pubic, even on my own time, would have ended my employment instantly.

My CEOs (for useless EPA bureaucrats, that's the current President of the USA i.e. Donald Trump) were appointed by the stockholders (for you useless EPA bureaucrats, that's "we the people")

In each case, the will of the owners of either the private corporation or our country is reflected in whom WE chose to lead it. In the case of the USA "we the people made Donald Trump your top boss - obey him or get the boot. Employee opinions are worthless, less than worthless, for government "worker" opinions. It is their job to either obey their leadership (Donald Trump), quit, or expect to be fired with cause.

It is mind boggling for we of the real world to observe these Washington DC swamp rats claim they answer to some "higher authority," be it Gaia, "Bill Guy the science guy," Al Gore, or Hollywood stars and starlets jetting all over the world in their executive jets to warn the starving peoples of the world that they are just living "too extravagantly."

Get a life.

Holy crap.

Just how much power do you think the president has?

He is not the CEO of America. Not everyone works for him. Supporting the president is not a requirement for working in the federal bureaucracy. No, I think maybe you've confused our government structure for that of a corporation, or maybe for that of a dictatorship.

Oh, and I didn't "conjure up" anything. The list I made all have one thing in common: They reject modern science.

Re: EPA consultant is investigating anti-Trump 'resistance' within the agency: report

You asked for intelligence sharing. Now, you're going to move the goalpost? :lamo

No, I didn't ask for "intelligence sharing". You claimed that Obama also put out lists of words that departments were not allowed to use, and I asked you to prove that he did so. You replied with gripes about Obama's intel policy...which is not in any shape or form similar to Trump's Orwellian demand of "You can't use the word "fetus" anymore".

Seems you're confusing the goalpost with the broadcast booth.

Re: EPA consultant is investigating anti-Trump 'resistance' within the agency: report

FISA can't issue search warrants. See? You can't even get simple facts straight and we're supposed to accept that you all are smarter than the rest of us? Yeah, I'll pass.

Before you call somebody out for being wrong, perhaps you should FIRST check to see if they're really wrong.

Moderator's Warning:
Last I looked this thread was about a company hired to do work at the EPA and what appears to be the owner of that company using FOIA requests on employee's work emails. What this thread is NOT about is the FBI, Mueller's investigation, Putin and many other things that have absolutely nothing to do with the topic of this thread. So. Time to stop the derailing and get back on topic folks. Discuss the topic and only the topic or get booted. Your choice.

The Trump "thought police" are ferreting out "resistance"? Are government employees not allowed to have political opinions under the Trump regime?

Congress should look into exactly what useful/lawful work this firm is doing with their $120,000 EPA contract, and why Blutstein is poking into the private lives of EPA employees.

Since you are attributing this to Trump perhaps you can show us where it is exactly that Trump hired this Blutstein person to do this work?

Blutstein is working under contract ($120,000) for a cabinet department (EPA) administered by a Trump appointee (Scott Pruitt).

Personally, I still believe the president is ultimately responsible for what occurs within his cabinet departments.

And what was Blustein contracted to do? According to your article Blustein was not contracted to send in FOIA requests on those emails, that this is something that he is doing on his own time. Is Trump responsible for what people do on their own time?

Seems Blutstein works for America Rising.

Allan Blutstein has joined the firm as vice president of Freedom of Information Act operations, placing him in charge of public records requests. Blutstein, who joined the firm after working at the government accountability firm Cause of Action, is a lawyer and public records expert. He previously worked as a principal legal adviser to the FOIA staff at the Treasury Department's Office of Financial Stability, as well as in the Department of Justice's Office of Information and Privacy.

From their website:

America Rising PAC's sole purpose is to hold Democrats accountable and expose any hidden hypocrisy.

So, now we know who's behind the investigation of EPA employees.

Sounds eerily like James O'Keefe and his Project Veritas ninjas.

That investigation should be extended to every Federal agency and department.
After Trump won the Democrats and low lifes in the Obama adminsitration were very vocal about their intentions to remove a duly elected President by any means necessary.

We now know the Obama DOJ conspired with Fusion GPS, the Hillary campaign, the DNC and Christopher Steele to produce anti-Trump opposition research which was then used as the basis for a investigation into Russian collusion and to obtain FISA warrants to surveill the Trump campaign prior to a election

Bruce Ohr met with Congress yesterday behind closed doors and the lack of leaks from Democrats is telling.

EPA to end controversial contract with conservative ‘media monitoring’ firm

'Controversial' is a misnomer. It was spying on EPA employees to determine their political viewpoints.

Lol !! Liberals and WaPo are outraged over a GOP opposition rsearch firm being hired by the Trump EPA

Now Democrat funded opposition research being used by Obama's DOJ and the FBI to launch a massive investigation into " Russian collusion " and being used to obtain FISA warrants to spy on the opposition candidate prior to a Presidential election ?

Yea, theyre fine with that.

The optics were terrible ... even for a terrible GOP.

Re: EPA consultant is investigating anti-Trump 'resistance' within the agency: report

It is quite possible to engage in science while opposing Trump. In fact, the supporters of Trump tend to include the Young Earthers, the anti vaxxers, the climate change denalists, the believers in conspiracy theories of all sorts, readers of Tarot cards, in short, people of all sorts who have denied the findings of modern science in favor of wishful thinking and the old time superstitions.

They also believe "God" elected Donald Trump.

Wow..

I have never seen such a long post that was entirely bombast and rhetoric.

Re: EPA consultant is investigating anti-Trump 'resistance' within the agency: report

Are you ****ing serious? You offer as "proof" fake news from blog sites like "The Federalist" and "heavy" and expect us to believe it? Come on, if you could stop trolling for a few minutes you might actually learn something. So far, everything I've read from you is word-for-word propaganda from the White House which has told the truth less often than lying. There isn't an original thought in any of your posts.

And you used to complain about "obamabots" while you're 100% cool aid.

If it is found through a FOIA request then it would be on government equipment and possibly on government time.

I think it is wise of any leadership to ensure that there employees are following orders at work.

But of course. Erdogan thinks as you do.
