You’d never know it from news coverage — or from last month’s midterms — but the electorate has warmed up to Donald Trump. An Emerson College poll shows the president getting his best job approval ratings since near the beginning of his presidency.

So the source is "Hot Air" huh?

Emerson College National Poll: Trump's Disapproval Matches All Time Low
"Looking to the new year, Americans are positive: 47% expect that 2019 will be better than 2018, with 30% saying things will be worse next year. However, the poll also found that a plurality of Americans (42%) plan to spend less this holiday season than last year. 27% plan to spend more, and 31% indicate they will spend the same amount as last year. About a quarter of Americans (24%) consider there to be a war on the word “Christmas,” while 51% said there is not."
Interesting enough.

I've always wondered about that 30% who believe things will be worse in the future...
I've always wondered about that 30% who believe things will be worse in the future. "I'm tellin ya, things are gonna get really, really bad. And then you die." You couldn't give those sumbitches a car without them worrying about when it'll break down. And in truth, at some point it will. So, you could drive the damn thing and be happy, or you could worry all along the way until it does finally break down, when you can jump up and say, "See! I told ya!" There's truly no hope for some people.
With 99+% of the press coverage being hyper-negative... ROTFLOL...
And now Trump has the Looney Leftists in the House to make minced meat out of.

So...you are celebrating that slightly less than half of Americans dislike Trump? That is like celebrating the trash can not overflowing. It's still trash, but you are happy there isn't as much.
Super pathetic bragging about Trump reaching 50% approval in a single poll. Newsflash - Trump has yet to hit the 50% national mark even once in almost two years in office. In fact, he is the most unpopular (disapproved of) president in over 70 years.

And Reagan too.95% negative coverage from the Goebbels Inspired Media Propagandists (GIMPs) and he’s at the same number as Obama at this time during his reign of error.
No.
You have a problem with reading comprehension I see.
Same or better number as Obama, and Obama had the media licking his vagina and propagandizing for the incompetent 24/7/365.
No, I don't. The article you referenced was from "Hot Air"; the survey was from Emerson College. I was laughing at "Hot Air".
Wait, and Mr. "covfefe", "smocking gun", "who knew healthcare was this complicated?" is the highest level of competency?
And the point of this thread is...?
You are laughing at a website making information public?
OK.
Complaining about a website providing the public information you do not like.
OK.
You Leftists prove daily, you’re truly demented.
What is it about being educated you folks so despise?
I will take a guy who might misspell a word and loves the country, over a Leftist who wants to “fundamentally change” the greatest country in the world into another failed socialist ****hole.
You obviously seem to love ****holes.
Venezuela is waiting.
France is waiting.
Cuba is waiting.
Chicago is waiting.
Oh... You live in Jersey. ROTFLOL... that ain’t ****hole enough for you?
Read the OP.
If you cannot figure it out, I suggest you aren’t intellectually astute enough to participate here... for it’s not that tough to decifer.

If you look at the graph, Trump's approval has been pretty steady since April, averaging around 43% approval, 53% disapproval. Fact is Trump's highest approval of 45.9% was way back on 7 Feb 2017 at the beginning of his presidency. His lowest of 37.1% was back on 17 Dec 2017. That's not good as it seems people are pretty well locked in to how they view Trump, positive or negative.
We all know most Republicans will approve of Trump, most Democrats disapprove. That being the case, it is all about independents. Independents have give Trump a high of 42% approval, back on 31 Jan 2017 to a low of 30% on 29 August 2017. Trump will probably be stuck at around a 40% approval unless he discovers a way to sway independents. It was independents that put Trump in the White House by voting for him 46-42 over Hillary Clinton with 12% voting third party. It was independents that gave the House to the Democrats this year by voting for Democratic congressional candidates by a 54-42 margin.
I think the bottom line is Trump is in trouble if independents continue to side with the Democrats over his last two years in office. One has to remember, the Republican Party is still the smaller of the two major parties and has been since FDR.
I did read the OP. You seem to be bragging about Trump having similar poll numbers to the beginning of his presidency on one poll.
Are you bragging or just giving us an update? The latter is not thread worthy, the former is just sad.
