New allegations are now coming out against Gonzales who, with other officials at both Federal and state levels, either quashed an investigation into pedophilia by Texas Rangers, or turned their backs while the investigation was being quashed by others. Indictments were being prepared last year, before the investigation was shut down during Governor Rick Perry's gubernatorial campaign.

Article is here.

Puh - Leeze

Do you have anything worthwhile to contribute to this conversation?

Because all I see is a serious accusation with corroborating evidence followed by a smug and content-free dismissal-- which does not give even the slightest suggestion that there is a reason for the dismissal.

I've taken issue with alot of WorldNetDaily's reporting due to the fact that I've come across several news articles in which the authors blatantly distort the facts and/or flat out lie. The interesting thing is that their own sources often prove their assertions to be incorrect. In terms of this article, I can see blaming the Texas Rangers, Governor, Department of Justice, and maybe even the Attorney General but Karl Rove? LMAO! The author expects the reader to believe that somehow, someway, Karl Rove was pulling some puppet strings somewhere to cover up sexual abuse for the sole benefit of a man he probably doesn't even know exists.

Isn't it ironic that 999 times out of 1000, the original poster would do everything he could to discredit anything written by this source? When it suits him, however, all bets are off.
