The Roberts Supreme Court doesn't even try to hide it anymore. They are advancing the principle of the "unitary executive theory", and the demands of über-conservative organizations such as the Federalist Society.

By 2028, Donald Trump will hold total power over every man, woman, and agency in the Executice Branch. With the Roberts Court acting as a legal shield, there will be no protections against a dictatorship.

The Constitution makes the President, not Congress or the Judiciary, head of the Executive Branch.

So the Court rules that constitution says its pointless for Congress to create independent agencies free of political pressure.

Is that a good thing?

Welcome to despotism.

I'm sure we will hear the shrieks of how bad this is of a populist Democrat hell bent on revenge wins the presidency I'm sure.

If precedence is irrelevant, what does the law even mean anymore?
Breaking precedents isn't exactly a bad thing, especially considering our nation's history. The question is why and to what end those precedents are broken.

Lets see them stick by these decisions when a Democrat is in the WH.

First, let's see if elections even matter any longer - see my sig.

Second, if they do, let's see if Dems will vote for anyone with the balls to use the new dictatorial powers to bring us back from authoritarianism. It's not often that those that end up at the top of a dictatorship restructure the system to give up that power easily.

Those are my questions, as well.

Why would we want our government to protect us from ruthless product manufacturers?

Surely the product makers have our safety as consumers as their top priority, right?

I mean it's absurd to even imagine someone might knowingly produce an unsafe product just to get mere money, right?

I mean just everyone values people over money, right?

Who even heard of anyone who doesn't?

A king is born.

All hail the great Dysfunctional Donald, the godly!

On your knees, mere human!

So the Court rules that constitution says its pointless for Congress to create independent agencies free of political pressure.

Is that a good thing?
Yes, it’s a very good thing for the Court to uphold the Constitution and for the country not to have Executive agencies that aren’t accountable to anyone.

Anything that weakens the power of the despicable, progressive, regulatory state is good, and that's what this does.

Remember, these rotten career bureaucrats who are in bed with big business are all unelected.
