Authoritarianism is part and parcel of leftism, violent coercion is simply part of socialism. Survival is an evolutionary impetus, socialism must overcome the innate instinct of humans to survive, in order to force them to labor for the good of rulers and a supposed collective instead of their own survival and prosperity. Force and violence are ALWAYS components of socialism.

I do not understand why people like you keep thinking this is a state issue when the pandemic is global.
But yes, you're absolutely right, if Trump was actually serious, every person in every state would have been issued a supply of masks, gloves, sanitizer and contact tracing software and VERY widely available free testing.

Just because you refuse to understand how masks work, or when they need to be used, is not everyone else's problem.
But you are THEIR problem and people should make an effort to stay as far away from your Branch Covidian ass as possible at all times.

A properly fitted N-95 mask will provide about 15 minutes of effective defense against Corona viruses.

Cloth masks do nothing but acknowledge subservience and obedience - which is their only purpose.

I just returned from the store not long ago. I counted 1 not wearing a mask. 7 wearing them incorrectly. 8 wearing masks that were inadequate. 1 (the clerk) wearing only a face shield. All thinking they were protecting others and (falsely themselves). The thought did occur to me that there sure was a lot of Trumpsters shopping today.

I guarantee they weren't all Trumpers. Most everyone wear masks are wearing ones with valves, sub N-95, or and then incorrectly.

Oh yea, I forgot there was one with the valve. What’s wrong with these people? For the anti-Trumpers they don’t care if people wear the right masks properly. It’s all about optics.

Things would be better if the messaging had been along the lines of "Well, this is gonna suck for a bit. Time to do what we Americans always do: come together and kick this things ass!" trump could have been an actual hero, and I would have given it to him as much as I don't like him.

He did not. "There's nothing to worry about. It's all a hoax!" got us where we are right now. That's written in the data.

It's been made abundantly clear that YOUR mask protects them and THEIR mask protects you.
Also abundantly clear that nothing is perfect but that proper mask precautions help a good deal in lowering the transmission but only if everyone cooperates.
Thus the remaining people who don't get it, it's because they WON'T get it and they aren't interested in cooperating.

There comes a point in time where people either get an understanding about something, or they're too stupid to get it or they're just committed to being an asshole because they enjoy it.
Everything else is just BS because this whole mask thing is incredibly simple.

And, totalitarian government or not, the punishment is punishment for being a deliberate asshole.
So it fits.

Yes of course it is limited. There's no such thing as perfect when it comes to germs and virii, did you think anyone said it WAS perfect? That's why they've also been advising people that they are safer at home, too.

There would have been NOTHING Democrats could do to dislodge him if he had given even a NICKEL'S worth like that.
That together with a coordinated all hands on deck federal response helping each and every state to get what they need ASAP and he could sail right into reelection and the Dems might as well not even bother running a candidate.

I never felt the need to carry a firearm in public before COVID-19, but you can be absolutely certain that I'm armed these days. After all, I see all kinds of masked leftist lunatics looting, destroying property, and even setting people on fire. If these masked leftist freaks approach me they will get a lesson in how well their mask stops lead.

Sure you would be safer just staying home. For the vast majority that’s not an option. Worthless advice.

Many people have a false sense of security surrounding the mask and that’s probably because these so-called experts don’t want to panic them. I’ve been to the hospital quite a bit during the last 9 months. Even amongst the health care workers I observed quite a few not wearing them properly.

Am I expecting perfection? Not at all. Just honesty when it comes to wearing a mask. If you don’t know how to wear one (wear the right type) I’m not coming near you. But there’s a whole lot of people out there that think they are protected. BS.
