While he was sitting in his truck, driving along a busy road, the man spotted a person who was about to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge into oncoming traffic on a very busy highway. With great reaction speed and thinking the truck driver slammed the brakes and when the person jumped he just fell on the top of the truck, falling just a few feet and safely away from the busy traffic speeding along at 80 miles an hour (or so).
And this was not a big truck, this was a small truck, but he stopped the car so perfectly that he saved the life of the person trying to commit suicide. Ambulance staff, police officers and the fire department (needed to take the man from the top of the truck) helped the man down from the truck and he was transported to a hospital where psychiatric help was organized for the person.
