The party said private possession of child pornography should be allowed although it favors banning the trade of such materials. The broadcast of pornography should be allowed on daytime television, with only violent pornography limited to the late evening, according to the party.

Toddlers should be given sex education and youths aged 16 and up should be allowed to appear in pornographic films and prostitute themselves. Sex with animals should be allowed although abuse of animals should remain illegal, the NVD said.

The party also said everybody should be allowed to go naked in public.

Well, if you are going to preach equality for all, I guess that means children too. Can't say I disagree with them from a philosophical standpoint, but damn. What a disgusting party platform. I will excercise my right not to EVER have kids in the Netherlands.

And what, exactly, is wrong with prostitution? How can it be within the government's responsibilities to tell someone what is ok and not ok to sell or do with their own bodies? As long as it is a free choice, then it falls to the individual to determine whether or not They want to be prostitutes.

The story specifically said that the proposed bill would make prostitution legal for SIXTEEN year olds and older, which is an adult by any reasonable definition.

To me that means that they will argue it further down for prostitution. I know the highlighted part abt 16 year olds and the prostitution, but hell I just don't trust them. I personally don't classify a 16 year old as an adult, they are still wet behind the ears... Just my opinion. Not sure if prostitution will go down well as an extra-curicular activity... new sport, art?? I won't advise anybody to consider prostitution let alone a teen.

Nah, the utopia exists. I've been there. People of all shapes, sizes, ages, and colors. Body acceptance is a wonderful thing. If you haven't experienced it, you're missing out.

yes ,i have to agree, nudism is very freeing.... but i dont know that i would want to get in my car and drive on the freeway that way....
as far as sex with children....i dont think a child really knows the meaning of this type of thing and it would only be using a child for sex... like a man jerking off.... it wouldnt be right to use a child in such a way....( im being extremely logical here, this type of thing turns my stomach...anyway)..... and , hmmm, sex with animals... for this all i can really think to say,devoid of emotion ... is WHY THE HELL WOULD ANYONE WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH AN ANIMAL.............. Just to update, this is a genuine story. It made the BBC News headlines today, and one of them gave an interview. This is all that's up on the website at the moment, once the tabloids run with it for a bit there should be some follow up and concerned Dutch (and European) citizens can start taking names.
